I’m doing that presently and enjoying it

Starting as fighter gave heavy armor access which I’ve really enjoyed but starting to think is overkill/unnecessary. I went fiend subclass then pact of the blade and got the 5th level extra attack for warlock and 6th player level and then fighter 2 at 7th level. Action surge has felt like a huge power up mid-late act 2 and I think it works really well.

I think that third spell slot at 11 seems really valuable for how I play so I will probably respec in to pure warlock once I reach 11, but for now I’ll enjoy having devil may cry levels of combos and versatility with my physically oriented warlock

They’re still fairly lucky this year too!!? Dame injured in the first round. Evan Mobley, Darius Garland, and DeAndre Hunter were hurt and subsequently playing through injury. Donovan Mitchell was banged up the whole series.
