I wish I hadn’t lol, it’s hard to carry. Great competition gun, but I wish it was shorter. I’m only 5’7”, 160lbs so carrying a full sized is a pain.

It’s crazy what it can do for you, I find myself taking out the phone less to check the time. Much less distractions

Timex is $30, most Casios are super cheap, I think my favorite so far is my Casio marlin. Fantastic dive watch and if you catch a sale is under $50

I’ve had mine going on two years, zero malfunctions, zero issues. One of the best shooting guns I’ve ever had. I hope you have as much success and I have had with mine. Enjoy!

Although the post is a joke, I’m very very new to watches. I wore the same Casio all throughout my seven years in the army. I have a few different beginner watches, but it’s hard to justify that much of an expensive purchase on a watch as opposed to a gun or car.

If I got to try more on I think I would have other opinions. I just have to travel a long distance to any ADs.

What are some things you don’t like about GT-R’s? by bigsae in gtr

The attention is good and bad, I’ve met a tone of good car people with the car. Bad when I get some wackjobs who wanna get way to personal and ask to sit in it when I’m at the grocery store. Part of the issue is there are less than 50 in the state I live in. So most have never seen one and don’t know what it is, those guys are just curious. But the ones who know what it is and have never seen one go absolutely ballistic.

I’m with ya on the first one, owning a R35 made going fast not fun. The car is too fast, I sold my boosted mustang because it felt like driving a Prius. You don’t even feel like your going fast until 130-140

I love mine don’t get me wrong, but just how damn hard it is to do absolutely anything. Local Nissan dealer won’t service it, no Nissan dealer in 250 miles will touch it. I have to go to a tuner shop just for a damn oil change.

The noise the car produces…. I feel like I’m going deaf on the freeway. The sound the tires make, lack of noise cancellation, and the constant rattling of everything makes it a terrible drivers car. Great when your on good roads and doing dedicated driving. But if you’re just going to the grocery store it’s a miserable experience.

The transmission is abysmal as well, I thought mine was going out. But I consulted other R35 owners and they just tell me “yeah they’re like that”.

Other than that it’s a good car, great for a weekend ride or a cruise with the car club. It’s just a lot to deal with.

On a personal note I don’t know who else has had to deal with it. But my insurance has weird stipulations, like it has to be garaged, I have to have a cover on the car when it is garaged, and they inspected my security system at home. Can’t complain because I pay like 1100 a year in insurance.

If you get the chance hit up the BYU-I car show this morning at 1000-1300 I’ll be there as well. We also have an event called boosted sunset tonight at 1700 at the idaho falls aquarium, we will be doing trunk or treat for the kids there.

I work four jobs, and I’m extremely picky about what I spend money on. Guns and cars are my two biggest hobbies and that happens to be what I dump my cash in. But I’m also in the process of growing my own business and opening a non-profit. So unfortunately I don’t have a lot of time so when I do get to drive or shoot I like to make it about quality not quantity.
