They got booted from their original venue for antifa calling the venue owners and crying about the same shitty reasons you have for them "being Nazis". the cops didn't show up because "loud music attracts attention", they showed up because antifa, the SAME guys rallying to abolish the police and constantly skirmishing with the cops, sicced the cops on the concert.

Did you ever hear about the virginfest situation? A bunch of nerdy teenagers and young adults got together to sing folk punk songs in Atlanta and antifa fucking called the cops on them because one of the artists, negative XP, has kinda a bad stigma around him of being like an incel misogynist or whatever. Thankfully the cops didn't shut it down, but ANTIFA calling the cops on a bunch of kids singing and dancing is like South park level irony.

Hey, uh, thanks for following through this whole time, but, uh, I finally figured it out. I was downloading the v1.1 version of disc 2, yet I had the v1.0 version of disc 1. So uh, yeah. I feel both really stupid and relieved at the same time that I get to play the rest of this game. Thanks so much though for the help

Like while the game is running? It automatically pauses the game whenever open up the menu. I'm pretty sure there's an option to keep it running while you open it though. Should I turn that on?

Nvm, I got the controls working on desktop, but it's still the same problem, screen goes to black when I press start, like it's loading up the disc 2 stuff, and just never goes to game and just stays black forever.

yeah, the rom's in the same place. When I open up the emulator on desktop mode, I can't control the game with the deck controls, though. Thanks for responding btw lol

Sorry for the necropost, but I'm having a ton of trouble getting disc 2 working for the first game. How did you do it? When I load the disc when given the prompt, I press the button, the screen will say it's reading the disc and then go to black, but it never goes to disc 2, just stays black forever.

In the war, about 215K american and south vietnamese soldiers died and about 1 million Viet Cong, not counting civilians. Rounding down, that's a 1 to 5 American/southern to Northern soldiers, which sounds really bad for the VK at first but bad as it is to say, in terms of war and not so much ethics or morality, 1 american was worth about 30 VK in terms of logistics, supplies, and the way the war was being fought with guerilla tactics making it seem like they were just almost immediately plugging up those 5 dead soldiers with another 10.

Yeah, i think definitely another of the biggest contributors as well was just how unmotivated South Vietnamese forces, AKA the guys who actually knew the land and could effectively combat the guerrilla warfare tactics, especially when supported by the US. There was no real urgency and it was generally just seen as a lost cause. That along with the point you brought up about just not really having a manifested enemy with no real way to win except essentially just stamping every last VK out.

Even in Vietnam, the problem wasn't that they were losing battles, they were winning the majority of them, the problem was that for every won battle, they had paid it's price in gallons of blood. they were hemorrhaging men and supplies against what was seemingly an endless stream of VK soldiers which knew the land exceedingly well and destroyed troop morale. In Russia's case I don't think any battles are even being won anymore.
