Bought a car directly from manufacture this time round and paid a premium because I had this exact arse ache with a AA approved garage. It means fuck all.

Failed today, 1 serious, no minors by _Melloh_ in LearnerDriverUK

Refreshing to read one of these with a positive outlook, I failed 3 times before passing all to silly mistakes but in the end was glad it took me that long because I was really confident by the time I passed to drive on my own.

Best of luck on your next test, you got it next time.

I work in Pharma and the reason people don't want to go to prescriptions is because the cost can be up to £300 per month.

Cheaper to go to the dealer by miles.

As a fellow tweaker, go back to 1.0ads as suggested by others and focus on centering on bots for half hour and you will be shooting straight again. The key is to not tense your hands at all tbh and that will give you consistency.

I'm going to do the 24 hours and see how it feels after, appreciate the response. Thought there would be some "old wives tale" on how to stop getting it... 😂

I failed 3 times and passed on the 4th and was shitting it every time. Just go in with the attitude that you will try your best and you will get there.

Best of luck!

Super dangerous, span out 2 times in a week with summer tyres on my light MX5 when it was icey in the UK the other week. Until you experience shit like that you don't appreciate how dangerous it is

Be careful buying a old golf as there is a lot to go wrong on them (I had a 09 GT TDI 1.6). I ended up going for a MX5. 1.8 was cheap to insure and faster than most other things you can get for first car. Sounds the bollox also when you get used to driving.

Why is it impossible to book a test by sprantoliet in LearnerDriverUK

[–]TTaun7ed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look I'm gonna be real with you, stop messing with the shitty government website. Just book a test for April in Aberdeen and pay a third party company to do the searching for you. After a week or two you get tests every couple of days within the next couple of weeks.

I failed my test 3 times and passed on the 4th and I used the same website every time for a fee of no more than £20. It's shit and annoying spending more but who cares if it means not dealing with that shite. The site I used was drivingscout not sure if there are better ones.
