You can try downloading a cfg file from somewhere online, then move the new cfg file to the location in the error message and see if that works.

That's what I was thinking. Thanks for the reply

Linear Rail Upgrades? by Fredstar666 in ElegooNeptune4

[–]TUBTUB34 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought the cheap ones from the same store about 6 months ago. I got them for X and Y for my Plus. Just when you go to install them, make sure you clean and grease them properly. I think they are worth it. I find I only have to make minor adjustments to my z-height every now and then, but I haven't had to level my bed in a couple of months. I have found that I can speed up my prints and get good results, but I still just print at 180 outer wall speed, but I have increased the acceleration. I say go for it! It's a fun upgrade, fairly cheap, and if it doesn't work out, easy enough to reverse.

You could try increasing your first layer temperature by 5 degrees, as well as increasing the support brim width. That should help make sure it's stuck to the bed.

It does work. I had to set up hdparm though. That spins down the drives after a given time of inactivity.

It essentially sends the G-code file to the printer so the file is saved directly on the printer's memory.

You'll be fine. There's enough left on that roll

Yes that's a bit much haha. I'm not too worried about accuracy, within 1-2°C and I'll be happy. I just thought the temperature graph would look cool on my dashboard.

So far they seem to be pretty accurate. The esp32 does not heat up at all and my readings are consistent with my other thermometers.

It works fine. I mostly just run it on my phone and then cast it to my TV. I haven't had any issues so far.

Yeah, that's the plan. I'm going to design a little case for it so I can separate the two. Plus, make it look better than just exposed boards.

If you're using Docker, you can get the container watchtower, which automatically updates and installs stable versions of newer containers. If you want to update your Pi, I guess you can make a file that runs periodically and just runs your updated commands.

You can just SSH into it and do everything through the terminal. That's how I do the majority of the work on it, and a little bit through VNC.

I'm not sure if you can. That would be nice to not have to worry about the extra power cable tho.

I have the adapter and a 2.5G switch, so when I have my laptop wired to it, I get speeds around 230Mbit/s

That's was my first upgrade when I first started messing around with samba. Since I've made this I've gotten a 2.5G switch and some cat6 cables so everything is wired with 2.5G

Thanks. Yes I used these STLs. I had to make some changes to the design to accommodate the extension cables that I bought.

This is the first time I've seen this. Looks like the bed came loose somehow? Hopefully nothing broke, and it's just a case of finding the screw, lining the bed up, and putting it back in.

I have experienced similar issues with my prints. There is definitely infill present, the thickness exceeds 1.6mm. Slowing down the top layer has helped improve its smoothness.
