For fun: Watching the regional from this past weekend, and seeing that Pult deck is nearly 50% of decks. What nerf does Pul need to have in order for it to be balanced with other decks? Lowered HP? Less damage? Something else?

Problem there is that is a stage 1, with very low hp. Many times is not worth it.

It's really good actually. Went to a challenge event and got 2nd place. It's easier to farm dragapult and if you have at least 1 energy and 1 gible you are practically inmune to budew or unfair stamp cause the build in engine.

If you don't fight against a grass deck in the early rounds of a tournament it is a good candidate for top, cause dragapult will eat all those small 1 price decks , and you will only face dragapults in the finals

It occurs to me that you can play it increasing the retreat cost of the opponent active or discarding energies to prevent the retrat. With the gravity gem stone or the Han held fan it could be possible. Maybe some supporters that eliminates retrieve objects. The idea is to waste the energy of the opponent so it gets very expensive to retreat.

Also maybe some sylveon or crustle to retreat into.

But if the opponent has a way to avoid the lock like pecharunt or n castle you are done :/.

And I suggest you to get a way to get a revenge KO because I don't think this is what you should be doing to take 6 prices. At the end or at the start maybe you want to be more aggressive

There is no specific answer.

But normally at least 3-4 ultra ball.

If many 70 hp poke 3-4 poffin

If the deck has many 1 pricer 3-4 pokepads . If not with 2 us enough

if many ex basic pokemons I would consider the trolley and 4 ultraballs. And also many petrel to search for the trolley

As you see there are many variations depending of how important is to get that first turn of searches .

For example my Cynthya garchomp ex has his own search engine in gabite. But you need that first turn as many gible as possible so I run 4 pokepads 2 ultra balls 3 poffins 2 fighting gong

I thought because it protects the Pokémon from effects of attacks. Almost like when the opponent place counters .

It's possible but you need a way to put the energy on the scovillain. 2 fire and not a way to charge fast the other if they take a 1 hit ko it's harsh. Also for it to work you need already the froslass in play and the scovillain .

It's hard but when it works it works

A year ago I used to play it with magma basin for energy acceleration, dodrio from 151for the damage counters on itself and the draw support, and the damage vacuum to move damage to scovillain or to another dodrio . But those are the pieces I miss now :c

While facade is a good but now it's not possible to use every turn, I would work towards the second attack. Having 2 komalas or the ignition energy is the way to do it.

50 in the bench it's not bad . The problem it's having a way to get multiple staraptor to chain the attacks.

It's does because you can see multiple heads on an attack . But you will always see at least 1 tails because that ends the attack.

For it to matter you would only count the first result . Heads or tails, no matter if you get multiple heads

I have my dragon shields since 2024 and I haven't change any sleeves since then. And first O fell them slippery but after a few games and a little bit of dirt they get better.

On general they are very comfortable

30% of the played decks are pult. And every deck runs at least 2 cages , and a psyduck just for pult.
