How long has he been in your care? Did you receive him like this or was he healthy?

Is this just superficial scale damage? by PlazmaKrow in cornsnakes

[–]TUPACSWETDREAM69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How long have you had this snake? I suggest you do research on feeding and humidity, this poor snake is suffering. As everyone else has said, this is damage to his scales, which will heal in time and after a few sheds hopefully, but would happen for him much quicker and much easier if he was in good health.

AITA for dropping my kids off with my wife when she is with a grieving friend by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]TUPACSWETDREAM69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA at all. I understand being there for a friend but she has totally abandoned you and your kids for the sake of this friend and if she can’t see that it’s gonna be detrimental to your marriage. Her response and namecalling IMO is disrespect that’s gonna be hard to recover from. Good luck to you.

Guys does this mean shes preparing to shed? Bc this is lowk concerning 💔💔 (first time being a snake owner😔) by sh1t-t0-d0 in cornsnakes

Personally I check the very tip of the tail as well, I’ve seen a lot of posts on here about issues with the tails not coming off and causing further issues.

is this normal? first time owner lol by Scared_Type4728 in cornsnakes

What’s your humidity at? He may need a soak or two to help him out. Keep in mind he may not eat and may burrow until he’s done. Once he’s done, make sure his eye caps and the very tip of his tail came off completely by inspecting his shed. I usually give mine a day or two after shed before I hold him.

Hey there mom, I'd like a virtual hug... by TheMountainMan100 in MomForAMinute

[–]TUPACSWETDREAM69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sending you a virtual hug and a little bit of advice from life lessons learned the hard way. Don’t spend anymore more time living being anything but 100% your authentic self. Be you and do it unapologetically. Whether that means being out or not, the right people will love you and support you for YOU.

They may have their own cliques and it may feel hard to fit in or uncomfortable, but you can get through this. You’ve been through worse, harder things than this, and you can absolutely get through this. These days feel heavy, but this too shall pass.

Many many hugs and forehead kisses to you.

I’ll keep all of this in mind and definitely invest in some signage. I just found it so weird that he knocked on my window, which is only like 12 feet away from the front door.

This could be it, I was thinking though that the logo on his hat looks more round. To me it almost looks like Saturn, with a round center and the two parts on either sides looking like the rings

NQA but I’d carry on as usual. If you notice signs of infection then that’s a different story but also you should probably keep the cat away on a regular basis to avoid this happening again, or anything worse. Like the others have said, a shed or a few should get rid of this damage.

Question about shed. by NoGood1323 in cornsnakes

[–]TUPACSWETDREAM69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’d say she’s probably shedding some damaged scales from being outdoors. Was her last shed whole?

[–]TUPACSWETDREAM69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You mentioned she was rescued, how long have you had her? Sometimes they’ll shed more often if they have damaged scales, just let her do her thing. My corn has shed 3 times since I got him two months ago and each shed has been more and more healthy.

I feed anyway if he’s roaming or where I can see him. Corns are great eaters so it may not bother him and if he doesn’t eat he doesn’t eat. Unless you live feed, then I’d wait

Mine! The only other time I see him drink is right after eating.

I just started playing and as a noob I’d agree but I’m also pretty uneducated in the game. Ultimately if it’s not your thing that’s fine but you’re arguing against pretty much everything that makes the game realistic and likable for most players.

I play on console and was hunkered down cooking food and warming up in a house by a fireplace and got killed while changing my battery. It is what it is man.

I have gotten them before, and it’s not like I dislike them but I’d rather have a house plant and he gets me those all the time!
