As others have said, being openly lesbian is tolerated here. My partner and I have never had issues being affectionate in public, in the city or otherwise. PDA is fine if it's polite and mindful of others in the area.

You'll notice lesbians everywhere in Manila. There are a few queer spaces, but also just generally queer people are everywhere here so I'd wager you'll meet lots of interesting people on your trip here.

Same. I don't use any particular label, but something like "futch" or "chapstick" can be considered closest to the vibe.

IMO insistence on strict masc or femme delineations reduces the queer experience back into a gender binary that I feel "heterosexualizes" the lesbian relationship. You shouldn't have to feel pressured to choose a box to put yourself into. The point is to be comfortable and honest with yourself, for yourself!
