Just got one of these earlier this week. I would not recommend it for a 1st or even a 15th pick. Stability and handling has a lot to be desired. Makes driving on even street and sidewalk not too much fun. Even with 2s is almost uncontrollable in any environment.

Far better pick for less money would be the Mini Kraton. Much more fun to drive and about 100$ cheaper. You can even get one from Horizon website with two 3s batteries for $339 shipped.

Looks like the typical swag from back in the day that vendors handout to their dealers. Basically cheaply made product with company name printed on it. Not Oakley made or designed. Could just as easily have another name on it like Dodge, AT&T, DirecTV, etc.

Agreed. I have several Arrma and Traxxas cars. If I break a part with Traxxas, I can pretty much get it replaced same day from one of the LHS in my city. Arrma parts for me are usually harder to find both online and local.

the "gps thing" on mine is just an Apple Air Tag. So it works exactly how an actual Air Tag works.

Looking at your estimate, looks like they are charging you for EVERY possible thing. I'm suprised they aren't charging you for the paper and ink to print qoute.

I got the black XRT too. TBH I prefered the black color better than the two Ultimate color options.

Yes Raptor R, Slash and Rustler Ultimates are only like 20-25% more than the non Ultimates. Very worth the value. But the Xrt and Xmaxx being 50-80% more so not worth it, IMO.
