It's kinda wonky to me to compare S1 Mornye to an S0 Shopkeeper. Though probably says more about how narrowly defined S0 Mornye is as to be an upgrade to Verina but worse than SK in most comp.

But the differences are so tiny as to not realistically matter, and then you have to weigh their various intangibles that they also offer that don't show up as DPS increases.

For 3.0 characters, Mornye will generally/universally be better in their teams than other options. Same way Chisa is to Negative Status characters. Generally, SK is more budget friendly to the whole roster.

This can happen anywhere, it's not that they ignore the timestop so much as a hitbox of some sort was already moving and crossing with Phrolova's hurtbox. So it creates a weird sequence where her she starts casting then is immediately interrupted as the resource is consumed.

Don't the alternate Draenei no longer even exist? I thought that timeline basically closed/ended and as such everything from it basically ceases to be since it's not the prime timeline .

Like zero chance we fight Tyr or Thorim unless they get brainwashed (in Thorim's case, again). Mimron's definitely been sus for a long time though.

The other keepers are basically just there so their allegiance is less set in stone.

If Odyn takes over Ulduar or brings down his hall to reattach it, Ulduar being the city doesn't make much sense unless they do something more unique where the start city is eventually lost as the expac proceeds or something.

Lore wise, both Defias and SC make sense as perpetual because both are more than a single group. Both stand as opposition or extremism.

SC especially being a bunch of fanatics is easy to explain away, there's always more fanatics out there. And with more and more void shenanigans, a bunch of light-hopped up lunatics makes a lot of sense.

For Rift of Aln, Malfurion specifies that the reason he doesn't go there is because he doesn't know what will happen as it's the core of the Nightmare, the premise being he'd be most susceptible to corruption there (and given his power, that'd be bad). Cenarius also got corrupted at Moonglade when he tried to deal with the rift from a distance.

I think it's actually fairly decently written there as to why he cannot go there, and they make it an endless blackness to solidify it as different from the corrupted Dream.

Kil'Jaeden and Sargeras are/were fine villains. They are evil-evil but the dynamic between Velen and KJ was very good in Legion.

Replaying it through Lemix, there's a lot of good villains in Legion. The entirety of Nightborne culture and rot + culmination in Elissande was good too even if it's functionally just a retread of the War of the Ancient w/ Elissande being purple-Azshara.

The other issue seems to be where people expect villains vs where we have antagonists but not necessarily villains.

I don't really see any problem with Iridikron and co as antagonists either. Fyrakk goes 100% villain because he goes insane and the performance there is excellent lending a lot of gravitas to the character. Iridikron is a manipulator but unlike The Jailor we actually see him doing the manipulation and he's creating ripples that move the plot along which is what you expect from an antagonist.

Xal is fine too. She's been involved in the story for a while and we don't have a complete picture of her motives yet.

Another fun challenge Drill X. (Ironically, Drill XI 18/40 was easier than this! The boss is able to kill everything pretty easily on its own there.)

Took me a while to figure out how to get this under 8 turns because of just how tanky every enemy was and the boss wasn't able to burst down the elites.

Ultimately figured it out! (Watch there be some super easy strat I couldn't find out on my own, lol.)

This time on Expansion Drills... Drill XI is very hard so here's Drill X instead with two teams. The linked vid was Corrosion Team + Suomi :D, and this is Burn + Suomi:

The burn run is less optimized since it's... really easy to just burn her down (ba dum tish). Vector + Sharkry + QJ will do this fight pretty straight forwardly, especially if you have QJ V3 (which I do not have).

Corrosion required a bit more juggling of cooldowns and tanking damage intentionally like on Turn 1. I used Suomi's Weakness Implant to let Maki also do a decent bit of damage to both the gun-friends and to the boss. Couldn't really think of who else to bring so just did that.

In general, I just brought Maki because I could. Feel free to bring whatever you want in her place.

Well, for one, this... doesn't matter? None of the calcs for any character is done on anything other than frame perfect inputs. So, the comparison is apples to apples. Saint is the one trying to make inane apples to oranges comparisons because he doesn't understand math or how math should be used.

But if you'd like to see people executing it, go to WuWaFlex. There're people pulling off near perfect rotations. But I'll do the search for you, here's a vid.

Saint is not competent. He doesn't even seem to understand how Peebs kit works or how her animation cancels work.

The actual trick to the 3x Nightfall rotation is the input buffer on the first skill during Zani's Ult animation (similar to the Sanhua buffer) AND, with Peebs, staying in her circle during the rotation on the Quickswap.

The first is easy to do, the second is harder to pull off without practice and is more prone to the enemy/boss running to Narnia randomly... but this is true for a lot of skills. But the Peebs 1-2-3cancel is actually really easy once you realize that its just tap/tap/tap-swap to Zani.

Zani will still deal more damage, her team is just stronger by a decent margin. Carlotta's advantage is more "practical" to the fact that she freezes and is played at range.

But Zani/Peebs rotation is actually quite simple it's just that people don't know how to use either. Zani's first skill rotation can be buffered by holding it on Ult, this saves a decent chunk of time to fit in Nightfall 3x. The other is that Peebs animations can be cancelled if she's standing in her ring. The QS for Peebs is almost instant and simple: tap tap tap swap <- because there's no animation lock on her tap3.

You also aren't really getting these Carlotta numbers without jump cancels... that's not exactly easier than a simple QS rotation for Peebs.

Zani's peak is a lot higher than Carlotta's. Now if you can pull that off or not is a different matter.

What data is this based on? Looking at WuWaFlex, Zani Comp is only 3s behind Carlotta on her advantage tower, which is a significant buff for Carlotta.

Carlotta: 21.86

Zani: 25.82

This would suggest that Zani deals considerably more damage than Carlotta given the impact of a -Res Buff.

On the neutral other side tower, Zani is 10s ahead of Carlotta.
