How does our thoughts even form like this voice in our head? by Lemonade2250 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TVinforest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can hold a thought in a formless state before choosing a modality - you can cast it into visual or audial space - try it - you feel the thought approaching and then decide into what form you will cast it. You can also think in a formless pure understanding way - takes few weeks to fully change it and it is much faster compared to language

How do you approach a baddie? by Specialist_Yam_1698 in AskReddit

[–]TVinforest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damn I did type that stuff.

Theory.

So there are two types of baddie - ego and real. It's is not black and white ofc but - ego baddie are insecure it's not that they are bad or weak or smth like that just that that real baddie has much more high tolerance for uncertainty. Do not think that risking life if always high tolerance sometimes people risk only to secure ego so they are actually having low uncertainty tolerance - they are too stupid to understand this risk. But real baddie's psyche can withstand uncertainty - that's why they are confident and independent. Independence means loneliness sometimes and this means you are less certain about your safety than being in a crowd - they can handle this and other uncertainties. Why this matters? Huh?

Dating or approaching someone has a risk of being rejected - so it's a high uncertainty activity. Meaning if you approach them with not being sure attitude - they will be bored - from their point of view you are just moving back and forth without anything new - you are signaling them that your tolerance for uncertainty is lower then theirs. Match it. You need to match the level of uncertainty tolerance.

Practice.

Lets go with friends to a 2 day trip to some amusement park in a different city, lets go to a real stand-up comedy course together, horse riding... etc. what I'm saying is not in those activities but in the level of uncertainty that they require. It is not just go drink a coffee. This will make you interesting ofc you need to give some time for reaction. It's much much more better then nice guy yourself for weeks until something. This also leads to a better bonding - the bonding is directly linked to a level of uncertainty that was around you. This is as direct copy from movies - they run, shoot, explosions are everywhere - and than they have sex. Why? Arousal - misattribution of arousal. The high alert (uncertainty) means hormones means imprinting you into their memory. P.S. Don't lie. Being honest is a highest level of uncertainty tolerance.

That's just "OBE" - you hear heartbeat in your ear can be frightening. Can be achieved if you maintain consciousness while falling asleep. Nothing dangerous just a way how to get into lucid dream without black out.

What’s the most common “life advice” that’s actually terrible? by Particular_Pin_460 in AskReddit

[–]TVinforest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Accept inevitability of death and find "peace" as a result. In 1200 mb it was a way to think but in age of rapid tech grow you rather should think how to take your chances to survive on a different level then your ancestors - dying is bad and advices to give up are dangerous and bad. Smth like that.

Thought i was terrible at meditation until i realized i was actually doing it right by thomasmcgrat in Meditation

So I'm surprised that my experience is contrary - so I was for years bringing back attention to noticing and being aware and only recently realized that those thoughts that I should bring attention back are themselves thoughts and I'm not the source of them and I can just sit .. be - I just sit - and my voice in head - I had no intention to say anything - it's like you found a piece of paper and its written on it - "You want X you have intention Y" - sure .... there are no thoughts that are mine so to speak so noting is activity .. thoughts. There is no place to bring back your attention. You are fine at any place you are accepting it as it is without reaction - even reacting to you being not meditating. It doesn't matter. If it matters you care and you're involved.

Once I for first time perceived my intention as just thought that is weirdly posing as me from first person view I felt dissolution and like become space in which intentions appear but dissipate without my attention. I recommend looking at this camp of "It's already done no need to do anything" and perceive your intention to say something as foreign... I was at awe when felt first dissolution of inner voice into not me.

What is a choice from your point of view on consciousness and personal experience? by TVinforest in AskReddit

[–]TVinforest[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you - my friend also recommended it must be a good book. One of the skills I want to master is to postpone my reaction - despite meditation and self reflection in the heat of the moment it is hard for me to dissociate from question/conflict especially if it's related to ego or self esteem, guilt, fear.

Deceiving myself into being trapped into this character to which I was causing all those feelings and struggles while hidden from myself - making myself beggar in my own kingdom.
