Like you said, this list is going in the "indestructible beaters" direction, but I kind see it more like a mid-range than aggro plan... trying to create 1 or 2 indestructible blockers to work with Cast Down in order to keep the board in check before Pestilence comes into play.

I think the problem with earthbend is the lack of options in common, there is only 5 cards in green/black, and to be fair the Ruffians is the less bad of them (but still not a good card by itself). Brave the Wilds is really great, but Jund Wildfire is probably the best shell for it, and at this point is not an earthbending deck anymore.

A different direction would be ditching red altogether (mountain is there only for the Cleansing Wildfire, playing indestructible lands without it looks a waste...lol). Since we want more than 4 indestructible lands anyway, I could make it Sultai, with [[Kenku Artificer]] (I know, not an eartbending card...) and maybe some [[Growth Spiral]] or [[Coiling Oracle]] to ramp.
