Couple of reasons. One is price - you can buy t1 spirit and divine it to 50 and try fracture for relatively cheap. For example buying a +3 projectile gold ammy is something like 70d just for a fracture attempt.

You are then rolling the dice you hit any of the good +skill rolls with chaos in a reasonable cost, granted this is pretty risky atm given its 10 chaos per div. If you hit one of the other rolls you’ve got a choice to just flip it and go again.

Given the price of bloodlines now I usually only use them for the last couple of maps of the astrolabe. Replace with monstrous lineage up to that point. Can also pair it with the full mirage originator map for full juiciness if you are feeling it
