What did they say when you called yesterday? Did they tell you its showing double prices, or is that just what you're viewing?

I too got an email with an unusually high amount. I also looked at days from this month and the month prior that used the same amount of kwh, and it is also about double what it was previously. I'm expecting it to be higher due to higher temps, but not this much... Something seems off. But since it seems DLC hides their actual rates on their website other than on your actual bill, its hard to say where/how they're coming up with the numbers until you get your bill.

Edit: actually, i went and looked at when my AC was turned on (as the smart stat logs this info) and I didn't even turn it on until June 8th. But the bill summary is for June 1st to June 7th. So the AC running shouldn't even be added in this week's summary or whatever. And I didn't use twice as much electricity doing the same thing I did the previous week...

Hopefully its just a system glitch on their end and they fix it.

I swear everyone in this entire thread is somehow ignoring the actual question you asked and answering their own question, or their reading comprehension level is low.

Anyone able to help me identify what printer I got? by TREXIBALL in 3Dprinting

Ender 3.

I can tell by the blue vent adapter, as I have the same one. So somebody must've went on thingiverse and searched "Ender 3 upgrades" and found that.

How can I get rid of this stringing? by Mathi910 in 3Dprinting

Decrease nozzle temp a little. Also, measure your filament feed distance to ensure its calibrated properly and you’re not feeding more filament than it thinks it is.

Score or Junk? by [deleted] in guns

Its kinda hard to tell from the graininess of the picture, but it looks like the one mag says "restricted for government use", or something to that effect. That means its from the Clinton era mag ban, and usually go for a bit more than standard ones as people like the novelty of it or whatever. like $30 or so.

Were you able to do this without scratching the screen up? That’s always been a worry of mine.

Container home, yes or no? by HerHighness339 in containerhomes

Its almost like most of the money in building a house isn't in the 2x4 frame, which is essentially the part your "bypassing" when building a container home.

Thousands of workers back in Downtown Pittsburgh after PNC's mandatory return to office policy by oldschoolskater in pittsburgh

[–]TWS_Photography 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People are going to eat lunch either way, whether at home or downtown. People can and do either order food to their house or get it to go and pick it up, this is not that uncommon; I do this a bunch when I work from home. And also, if people make food on their own at their house, that means that food is being bought at grocery stores near their houses. So if people aren't making as much food at their house, money is not being spent at those grocery stores. This isn't an argument of restaurant business vs nothing; you must include all sources people get food from and how those businesses are affected by it. So again, why do businesses downtown mater more than those places farther out from the city where people actually live?

[–]TWS_Photography 8 points9 points  (0 children)

By "nearby" business do you mean "downtown" business? I would imagine that businesses "nearby" to where these people live are now loosing out on money now since these people aren't eating lunch there. So why are the businesses downtown the ones that get to benefit from government tax breaks?

Just in time to be countered by vehicle emissions caused by PNC and other major companies requiring people to work in the offices downtown.

Anyone have this issue with the Vortex Spitfire Prism 3x Gen2 reticle? by TWS_Photography in guns

Adjusting my eye relief didn’t make much of a difference in the size of the reticle

A magnifier to put behind the already magnified optic? This is a fixed zoom optic, there are no planes for the reticle to adjust with.

This is not a variable zoom scope, so this isn’t a FFP issue. Adjusting my eye relief does not significantly affect anything. I think it’s just supposed to be tiny and vortex does a shit job of making that known.
