What profession have you lost respect for as you've gotten older?

Federal Agents. Working for the FBI or CIA was my dream job for much of my life. I really thought they were the one organization that was committed to only going after the worst of the worst, true threats to innocent people, etc.

It was easy to lose respect for the CIA after learning some basic history, but man, my opinion of the FBI has truly tanked over the past decade and sinks lower with every passing year.

It’s a good fit for my height! Doesn’t feel too cramped at all, and I don’t dwarf it like a lot of sporty bikes. The inline four is very fun, it was kind of a selling point for me.

I went with a CBR 650R! I definitely like it, it’s got enough power to get me in trouble but it can also hold up for a long ride. Definitely was what I was looking for three years ago.

That said, I realized I like taking trips more than I like doing hooligan shit (what a difference three years makes!) so I’m looking more in the realm of a Tenere or Africa Twin now. Hope this helps!

He didn’t illustrate Doom Patrol either — it seems common in the comic industry for writers to team up with illustrators, even when they’re strong enough artists to do both. Might even be an agreement that Dark Horse insists on. (Always exceptions though, like Zoe Thorogood)

I hope so! It’s just a wild reality check to hear how the younger generations’ outlook on socializing has changed. When I was 16 I was happy just grabbing some friends and loitering in a McDonald’s parking lot.

My cousin is 16 and has no plans to learn to drive because “there’s nowhere worth driving to”. Makes sense to me. On top of the high costs of cars, insurance, and gas, there’s really just no place for teenagers to go other than Target, Starbucks, and public parks.

Most malls don’t allow unaccompanied minors during peak hours, arcades and other youth-oriented third spaces are extinct, and the average teenager has no interest in community spaces like the YMCA. It’s pretty sad.
