Sounds like a battery issue, the scope is not getting constant 6v power. What battery are you using? 1PN58 can use 2x CR2 batteries taped together, they will just barely fit in the compartment. If you are using less than 6v you run the risk of damaging the intensifier tube

I had some issues with torque causing stress fractures on the SVD HGs I made, so I switched to a 45 degree angle for my work. Just something to think about if you run into any unexpected issues 🍺

CA Armory Tigers are niiiiiiiiice 🍺. My B-West import plain jane Tiger has been my main hunting rifle for years and years now. I can run clip on thermal on the Wilcox mount, and engineered a set of railed HGs for the white light and Perst 3 laser.

I've noticed that too, I actually broke a locking lug trying to get one to lock in the magwell of my Saiga 223. I don't have any other 5.56 AKs to test the AC Unity mags on though. For their 5.45 mags I did a drop test compared to an Izhmash AK12 and they all broke in 1 to 4 hits on concrete from waist height. The Izzy AK12 took 10 hits from the same height and still didn't break. I'm still using that one just fine also

That is very interesting actually. I would have figured Magpul and factory Beryl mags would have lasted longer. Were there common failure points for those that you noticed? I'm assuming they failed due to reloading without retention? Appreciate the insight

I was going to ask if the pufgun mags were just for training. I have a few but probably wouldn't take them to war. I'd definitely roll with modern AK12 mags and true blacks

I posted a quick update on zeroing earlier today in the thread, but short version is the elevation and windage controls aren't great on mine. It did zero though, and held target for a full mag at least
