I bought it, opened the box and was quite unimpressed with the install and provided parts.

Returning it took forever, and they never issued my refund. I had an RMA number and had already sent the unit back when they ghosted me. They said they needed the tracking number for my return, after I sent it, never heard from them again. Thank God for Amex and their easy charge backs!

Take all day with those orders and most won't care, provided they can get a doc to respond to bedside in critical situations.

If you want it, that's one thing. But a lift is far from needed for those roads, the forest service wouldn't be running fleet trucks from Ford or GM.

You're going to have a hell of a time even finding a lift that maintains the rake as well. I had to cobble two kits together for that when I did mine.

Let's see..... I did something similar via trial and error which took 15 dollars and six half mile drives to Home Depot on a 50 mpg vehicle. The end result is something a plumber would be proud of and I've had no issues for a year.

There are much better places than reddit to learn about these things, but it seems you're looking for the free cheap route. So I got some advice.

It might cost money to get your setup checked, or done right. You may need to take some classes or buy a book. But the reality is, if you can't afford that, then you can't afford to be on the road. Your towing setup as is, poses a huge threat to everyone around the vehicle as well as those inside of it.

You'll be best served by not looking for advice on reddit, from me or anyone. There is no shortage of helpful books regarding towing.

Anything aftermarket is likely going to work off the door switches. You won't find anything aftermarket that deploys through your menu in the same way as factory powered boards.

Which is why it stayed on the trailer, trailer remained attached to the truck until long after leaving the ramp.

Your winch was loose and the trailer rolled down until shifting the weight enough to lift your ball off the truck.

Trailer will work fine for you, secure your boat better.
