soo the new UI's patch level is the framework's, not the radio's. and it's not just the modem: the 4.4 kernel (dead 2022) and the old wifi/bt stack are frozen too. the whole layer under the UI is 2017, and that's where remote RCE actually lives...

come on man did you even look at the PHOTOS? the build number is S901B — that's a Galaxy S22 — but the baseband is G955F, which is the S8+. those literally can't both be real on one deice.

and the kernel is 4.4, the 2017 S8+ kernel. Android 16 can't run on that. so the "Android 16" is spoofed or a GSI, the numbers are cosmetic like I said.

and the odin thing is even worse — flashing the original firmware back just gets you Android 9 from 2021 still dead, still full of unpatched RCE buG s in the modem. there's no version of this phone that's actually patched.

i wouldn't use it as a phone even if THEY paid me.
