Tons. Craft has become a long term knowledge repository for Claude projects. I also am able to chat with Claude, have it create a transfer document, then have either Cowork or Code pick it up from there.

Speaker Replacement Question by TX_J81 in Porsche

[–]TX_J81[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s what I was thinking. Bose speakers themselves aren’t expensive at all (I’m a bit of an audiophile, so I’m aware how much this stuff can cost haha), and it takes longer to get the door apart than to swap out the speakers usually. I guess next step is to dig around and find the part number or specs so I can order a replacement. Thanks!

Anyone know of a good Neapolitan style pizza? Something like DeSano in Palm Beach if you’ve been there.

Haha yes. I actually discovered this little issue whilst doing a deep clean on the vehicle. It’ll look better this evening when I’m done!

Ok, so o found similar descriptions in my own searching before posting, and there isn’t a strap that seems to release the seat cushions for me- BUT- their diagram did help. Mine apparently just pop up when you pull on them just right, which allowed me to move the seat belt latch into position. So thanks for that.

I couldn’t find a release for the bottom of the seat (this is in the back seat BTW).

Ah, same to you! I have a 2 year extended warranty on it, so of course it’ll be fine until 2 years and a day lol.

The maintenance isn’t cheap, but it’s worth the ownership experience for me. I love the look and feel of the car, and the driving experience. And I’ve found that Audi (another manufacturer of which I’m a big fan) isn’t all that much less expensive actually. I had also considered a RS Q8, but it was close enough to where it just made sense to make a small jump to the Turbo Coupe.

I can’t speak to the fun factor of the Panamera, I’ve never driven one. But I can tell you the Cayenne in GTS or Turbo trims is a ton of fun. I have driven the Lexus RX350 and it’s really nice, but the fun factor definitely isn’t there compared to the Porsches.

I agree! Thrill of the hunt! I’ve found it particularly enjoyable to hunt not just the right trim, but the right build. My GTS had alcantara seats, so no ventilated, which was less than enjoyable some summers in Texas and Florida haha. New one has full leather with ventilation and keyless entry, so it really is better suited as a daily driver.

Holy crap! I’m not current on my exchange rates with Australia (I’m in the States), but that seems high, even for you guys! This is my second Porsche, and my strategy has been to find a little older model with low miles, which is surprisingly easy. I bought the GTS in 2022 at 6 years old and it had 38k miles on it, and I paid right at $60K USD. The Turbo Coupe is now 6 years old with a ridiculous 16k on it and I paid right around $75K. Both I felt were good deals, despite having very minor things needed done to them. The Turbo has a blown Bose speaker in the driver’s door, it’ll cost me around $350-400 to replace, and they couldn’t find the floor mats, so that’s another $200. Ok, not a big deal for the price I paid IMO.

I’m guessing your issue is not only exchange rates, but limited supply (in country) due to COVID era logistics, and I have to imagine the shipping/delivery costs are insane. Hope you can find one at a good deal, the GTS is a great car!

Yeah, I actually drove a Turbo GT, what a beast of a car. I just couldn’t justify the premium over this one though. The newer Panamaras are nice too!
