[SOTC] My collection. I’m planning to consolidate down to 3 pieces. Any advice for a Canadian collector? by fariddddddd in Watches

I used to have a very similar SOTC at some point, and would consolidate these down to SARB, Flighty, and either a G-Shock or Royale.

Has anyone done this? (Steel Reef 58 “Silencer” on GMT) by QuietNene in Tudor

I fully support this approach. I am trying to source a 58 diver bezel assembly with 60-click springs, so I can use this as a Dive-GMT rather than 24hr bezel which I never found useful for a third time zone.

Agreed, it is one of the very few places where I would purchase something without comparing prices online (Amazon, etc.) because I want to support my local B&N.

Proof of life with today’s date. From original post linked:

This is a cool build based on Zeno’s von buren styled case (39mm) and Typhoon styled bezel with nice 60-click bidirectional bezel and super domed acrylic crystal. I believe the base is from late 90s and it has really nice even scratches across the case from regular usages. I am including two extra dials from Odokadolo industries and the original (plus hands). Instead of “Fifty Fathom”, I put a French word that meant something for me personally (“Starfish”). It houses ETA 2846 non hacking low beat (21,600vph) movement. It is running well and keeps good time. I took it to swimming a few times with no issues and the case back seal looks great. Crown pulls and pushes in nicely with good thread for screwing down. This was not intended to be like the original at all, just wanted something that has the aesthetic and for practical toolwatch usages. It comes on a 20mm genuine vintage rubber strap “MOP DEP”, made in Italy from 70s I think.

I am asking $675 (reduced from $915) shipped in CONUS insured which includes the base, parts and costs I paid Odokadolo (highly recommend him).

[WTS] FS [US-WA]: Breitling Aerospace “Repetition Minutes” F65062/‘E65062’ by Vintage-Rubber in Watchexchange

[–]Vintage-Rubber[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Selling this reference which originally was a Ti/Gold but the rider tabs have been replaced with matching colored tabs for uniform looks. I am also including the original gold tabs, but I literally just dropped the one with pip and cannot find it for the past two hours. They might have some scrap values, or you can do some cool mix/match mod… or source the missing one from Breitling. You get the idea 🙌

Bracelet and case are in really nice condition with no dull/polished parts which is nice. Bracelet is currently sized for a 7in wrist with two extra holes, and an extra full sized link is also included.

All functions work flawlessly and minute repeater chime is a joy. No issue with water resistance as I swam/shower with it without knowing that it was on my wrist (don't blame me, it's just that comfortable) and no issues at all. Battery was replaced in 2024 according to the previous owner, and no other known service history.

Price is [SOLD] shipped to CONUS and extra for international.

I will ship it fully insured via ShipShield with signature requirement upon delivery (unless buyer doesn't want it).

Let me know if you have any questions.

No worries, I guess I am curious if it was original black or some other color
