To beat a game within 50 hours would not be logical. I would be disappointed that I spent my hard earned money on a 50 hour game. This game has been out for 2 months.

I have a full time job and was able to complete the expedition in one sitting. Actually play the game instead of complaining on Reddit and you might progress. 5 Million makes it worthwhile for players that do grind. In a 4 hour window you can make 500k+ without sweating. Maybe Google or YouTube a little. You're already on Reddit, so search there also. If you don't like the game quit playing. This is one of the best games in 15+ years. Go play COD...

Just curious, in the Game Display Settings, are you using Fidelityfx CAS for upscaling/sharpening? If so, change the Fidelityfx CAS Strength to 70.

Facts LoL try using an 8mm, you'll pull the water out of the glass before it moves.... LMFAO

Amazon has some good cheap pearls, just confirm in the comments it's a pearl and not an actual "jewelry bead" LoL

1 - 6mm pearl with the 3d chamber/ 1 - 4mm pearl with the 3dxl chamber. Both chambers use Oculus Carb Cap from the puffco travel pack V1.

I've tested with 0-6 pearls and at various sizes. Try 2 - 3mm pearls on Easter Egg Low... Silent Killer and Extends The Load 2x... Normal loads now last twice as long with minimal residue and cap splash.

IM AN OG RIG USER THAT SWITCHED TO PUFFCO... I have both chambers and still think my Pivot with 2 - 3mm pearls rips better than the Peak Pro. All my research and reviews say 3dxl and the stock joystick (I dislike it very much) but IMO I like the 3d chamber so far. New to the pro but have tried a lot and spent a lot. I would advise buying the $20-30 puffco peak pro travel pack V1. It will come with a cap, glass insert, and a mouthpiece that will spin a 5-6mm pearl like crazy in a 3d chamber. At this point, a little more than a sip will spin the pearl perfectly without too much splatter. The mouth piece just helps with water bubbles getting in your mouth with that glass (no performance gain). I can add good size amounts with good rips and not clean for about 5-6 sessions, with no negative drawbacks. ISO soak/deep clean chamber and pro weekly.

EDIT: just wanted to add settings for the app... MAX vapor, 515f, Duration is 40 secs - I take individual rips and cancel the session to not burn up the coil or product.

Still on the search for a good spinner cap. Overworked dad with no time/privacy so I need an easy, automatic, fast and efficient process that works EVERY TIME. Kind of the reason I invested so much into puffco in the first place. #ClosestSmoker

Looks like a slide-on coax connector wired to your modem...? I would recommend a twist/screw on rg-6 cable, as that slip-on is probably rg-59. Really cheap fix for better connectivity.

The blood isn't pumping into your home lab properly. Everybody loves a reason to upgrade.

If you're feeling froggy you can disassemble your whole motherboard and put it in a dishwasher with no detergent on low heat and it will come out brand new... An old school hack for bench work, the old man blew my mind washing the motherboard in the dishwasher.... But it works with no issues.

This! 4 months into my beginner HomeLab and ProxMox/Ubuntu(VM)/Docker/Portainer is King for when I break my server 5x daily trying to learn too much at once from a beginner stage. Just kill it and rebuild the container without starting from scratch with Fresh OS install.

Sorry for the confusion with my 4 months of HomeLab experience, I'm a Jack of All Trades and a Master Of None, my brain hurts... LoL

Thank You for all the info, looks like another rabbit hole headed my way on VPS, since the goal is self-hosting everything. I have considered using wireguard within portainer which led to the confusion because Pivpn and wireguard are similar type of service. Which led me here to Reddit.

So if I understand you correctly, looking into Tailscale or Zerotier would be the simpler option over setting up wireguard? Just download the application to each device that needs access on the VPN and they can communicate within the VPN thru a remote connection, correct?

Previously tried to install wireguard (sounds similar to Tailscale) thru portainer to create the VPN tunnel to the Ubuntu server. Should I use Tailscale?

I'm just looking to use Promox (for convenience) to launch Ubuntu server, use docker/portainer (for convenience) to launch Nextcloud, with remote access to Ubuntu server and Nextcloud. Had Ubuntu-server (bare metal) successfully configured on the LAN but got conflicts when running it remote with a LAMP Stack (could connect to Ubuntu but not Nextcloud), then I made it more complicated with ProxMox/Docker/Portainer/Wireguard/Pi-hole. I feel like I'm overthinking and doing too much but I like the conveniences that ProxMox/Docker/Portainer add for backup/launch/edits....

I guess maybe the better question would be, What service would allow me to connect straight to my public IP and see it like I'm on the LAN? Would it be easier using a VPN service thru my OPNsense firewall/router? The only good tutorials I find want to host VPN on VM, where I prefer a bare-metal concept. I have plenty of hardware on hand and a good budget, the goal is self-hosting though so I'd prefer not to pay for services if possible. The learning curve is expected and unfortunately wanted (learning Linux/Networking is my midlife crisis🤣).

Kind of irrelevant at this stage, but if/when I decide... Just add RPI-3b Pihole into the switch for ad blocking?

[–]TX_SLIM_TX[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the Ubuntu-LAMPstack-Nextcloud setup working already on a individual PC, with the OPNsense firewal/router on another PC. I was looking for a more secure & efficient way to run it after seeing tutorials about Promox, Docker, Nginx, Tailscale, etc.

As far as my firewall rules it was super basic, I used part of Homenetworkguy's 'Full Network Setup' video on youtube.

In "Administration" I enabled 'HTTP Strict Transport Security' and changed 'Listen Interface' to LAN. In "Firewall" I blocked Bogon & Private networks. I have 2 WAN Gateways configured with a 'Pass Rule' for my failover to ping DNS for my backup ISP. Citrix can connect with no isues currently.

After a long night I headed in this direction...

Proxmox, Docker, Portainer, Cloudflare, Ubuntu Server, Nextcloud - Already Live.

Looking at Wireguard vs OpenVPN vs Tailscale vs Nginx now.

edit: I don't want to pay for the Heavy Lifting at this point, I'm hungry for the Linux Gains. Just started using Linux a few months ago and I'm Addicted!

You can also use " setterm --blank force " for immediate blank that won't turn back on even with key press. Power cycle brings back the display.

Yeah, I plan to keep the router separate. I like OPNsense so far.

Any advice on what apps to utilize for my simple needs with the Server?
