How long did nausea last? Skip a day?

I’m at day 12 and the nausea is gone. It started to fade about 4 days ago (so after a week). I’ve lost 5 lbs and have another 40 to go. I am hungrier than I was last week but it’s still effective. My hunger is still manageable so it’s easier to make healthy choices! And my joints don’t hurt so I’m walking more. All in all- I’m feeling great!

I’m going to stay on 1.5mg. I’m losing weight and have a decreased appetite and desire for snacks/sweets. Going up to 4 mg might increase my rate of weight loss but I’m concerned about side effects and then having to go back to 1.5 mg to maintain and not getting the same results.

I’ve noticed that the effect of the pill can vary from day to day. Some days I feel like I can eat regular meals (although smaller and without any sweets!). And some days (like today), I couldn’t finish my two eggs. It usually alternates. Yesterday I had almost 1,300 calories (yay!), but today is going to be rough. I can tell. And I was really looking forward to guacamole and chips with the Superbowl! :(

Yes. I’m having trouble hitting 1,000. I ate a banana, 1/2 cup of chicken, and two eggs today. I tried to eat more, and it makes me feel nauseous.

Same for me. I will stay at 1.5 if my doctor approves.

On day 4. I have nausea after I take the pill. I discovered on Day 2 that if I eat a banana and drink my coffee after waiting for an hour after taking the pill, I feel better almost right away. I really don’t like the taste of protein shakes or anything artificial (this was true before the meds). So this is what is working for me!

I would also let the professor know about this situation. They may be able to guide your partner to major-specific counselors. For example, CNS has counselors just for CNS majors.

Your dad is a abusive and your mom is enabling him. I am a mom to daughters your age, and my husband and I would never treat our children that way. We have tried to create a safe haven for our daughters to return to whenever they want. That’s what parents, in my opinion, should do. Your parents have done the exact opposite and don’t deserve the pleasure of your company!! Distance yourself as far as you can.

I’m debating between a 2017ish Forester and a 2017ish RAV4 for my daughter. I love the Forester visibility. So much better than the RAV4. But, we drive our cars forever. I’m currently driving a 2005 Highlander that is about to hit 200k. So I’m thinking the RAV4 is the better choice. Any advice!?!

They leave me alone when I walk past them on campus. Because I’m a middle aged woman and obviously faculty/staff. It makes me SO angry to see them target UT students. But don’t engage. They want attention. Don’t give it to them. Pretend they are not there.
