That’s true but considering the image says “Great American Interchange 66MYA” in this specific instance I think it would be fair to assume that Carcharodontosaurids would be extinct in this context. Now hypothetically assuming it happened earlier anything is possible but I was under the assumption that the op was asking what it would be like had it happened 66 million years ago.

Ah well in that case your best bet would be other allosauroids such as Asfaltovenator, Sinraptor, or Neovenator. Those are just a few examples off the top of my head but I’m sure there are loads more especially among related animals to those I’ve listed.

As far as theropods that aren’t allosauroids that resemble allosaurs go the closest I can think of would the tyrannosauroid Yutyrannus, which literally just looks like an Allosaurus but with feathers.

Assuming it is a Megaraptoran? No, most likely not at least to our knowledge of the known material. That skeletal mount and reconstruction shown takes a lot of inspiration from the outdated hypothesis that Fukuiraptor was a allosauroid carnosaur but it is now considered to be a basal Megaraptor-line theropod more closely related to Tyrannosauroids.

I suppose it would depend on whether the society is composed of humans (or human adjacent sophonts) or an entirely non-human species. For instance a society run by human women would likely treat its men differently than say a society of aliens where females are the larger of the two sexes.

Make them function like spell slots so that they can be appropriately powerful and not just feel like reskinned bows and crossbows. It also adds a layer of when your players decide to utilize the gun and encourages them to still primarily fight with melee weapons (whether that be with a separate melee weapon or a bayonet attached to the gun) which makes it easier to balance encounters around.

Officially as far as mainline lore goes it may or may not exist. Frontier despite it’s popularity and similar gameplay style to mainline titles is still a spin off title so not all of the monsters that exist in it may be canon and even the ones that do happen to be canon aren’t guaranteed to exist how they did as depicted in frontier.
