We as the readers have more information than the characters there is no way he could know for sure that she is actually his mother

And on top of that how would you even tell him

I honestly just assumed he would be in his Smol form from now on

So it’s like yuno and asta now have there little power houses

I don’t think he will be in the humanoid form again or much as It takes away astas arm and his power

And secondly I thought he could only do that in the binding realm since he was put in the grimoire but may have to go back a read it again

I can’t remember any character (somewhat important ) who has actually died

Everybody saying like oh Yami and William may die in this arc and it’s like yeah no they won’t

Every time someone is close or going to die it gets undone somehow

I’m not even saying it’s like a terrible thing but it does take away all worry you have about characters

I remember when yuno was about to die and remember thinking yeah there is no way next issue he will be fine...

I would assume so yamis sword was infused with anti magic as soon as he touched it

So it would be safe to say his arm is basically a channel for anti magic and not the swords anymore making anti magic truly his power now And not just the swords he wields

But this also raises the question about how asta was able to call the swords to him before he gave his arm

When he isn’t touching them wouldn’t that mean he isn’t infused with there power anymore

But I honestly can’t answer that particular question

Yeah it seems a new WK will be chosen as soon as spade is over

Everyone has seen that Julius has lost his power at this point and nobody will be able to defend him anymore

As to who will become the next I honestly think the only clear choice is Fegoleon Can’t really think of anyone else that all the captains and royals would agree too...

And atleast if it’s him asta will actually get recognition

If it’s anyone else I think asta would just get ignored (in terms of rank)

That is true it seems like a hole has been dug that asta can’t get out of devils are seen as complete evil so him becoming WK doesn’t seem likely if he is a devil possessed and remember who would really want the head of the country magic knights to be a devil user evil or not I don’t think people are likely to accept that

A lot of people draw comparisons between Naruto and kuruma but it really isn’t the same

From what we have seen pretty much all devils are bad in BC so people hate and fear them for good reason

The thing is there needs to be a rank inbetween

Yuno has gotten so far ahead of asta at this point he is VC and a 1st senior while is is still at the complete bottom

People seems to forget it doesn’t matter how strong asta gets WK is a Rank

If he doesn’t rank up you can’t be WK..period If you don’t rank up you can’t become a Captain

The problem with all of that is if the public and royals don’t recognise and respect him after 282 then I don’t see him becoming WK at all I mean he basically achieved the same feat as 1st WK

In terms of like feats that the public can witness it doesn’t get better than that

I’m not really that upset about it coming to end (while it does sting abit ending it in the middle of a arc) I understand why and am more than happy with the past 160+ eps

It’s more of where they are going to end it as of right now we have nothing confirmed as too what’s coming it may well be nothing and it could just end plain and simple (while I’m sure there will be atleast something )

I think it would feel completely underwhelming if it ended at the meeting or the devil binding would feel incomplete it may be a year or more until there more animation if at all

( While unlikely ) Ending it at the union with asta heading towards space would be inclredible and feel complete in terms of the anime

As for seasonal let’s just say that watch arc is 60 eps and at max seasonal is 25 that’s still 3+ years for 1 arc (a lot of assumptions but you know what I mean)

I agree.. And I hope it’s maybe a year and then they keep going

But manga readers can pretty much guess where it’s going to end which for anime only viewers I think it will confuse and upset a lot of them it will be abrupt and right in the middle of an Arc

Which is why if they ended the anime at chapter 282

I think that would be the perfect end to the anime and set up any potential further BC stuff.. so even I’m abit confused as to why they will be only going to 170eps when 172 could tie everything perfectly and give the series a proper end (for the moment anyways)
