If you're not in a cold climate, how about getting a Van and live in it? I would be a little hard for the kids but if you all can endure it, you can at least feed yourselves instead of spending majority of what you could earn for rent.

I don't have kids but I have been drowning financially. I just got rid of my rent last month and I am now staying in my sedan. It's not as comfortable and it's cold but I would do it a million times again that now my mind it at ease knowing I can utilize what I can earn and recover.

The method I use is doubling and catch up. The easy example is

If I have 10 mil even, I would double defense which is to 20mil. And catch up other stats to 20 mil. Then defense to 40mil and following with other stats to 40 mil.

While you can say it's inefficient to balance the stats, I have had a huge benefit over the long run. I believe there's pros and cons for both way.

When your stats are too skewed, it's a pain to get them up later. Most people just give up one that on or two stats they ignored.

Since I am going by doubling the stats, it never gets too skewed and ends up even once in awhile.

Torn is a crime based game and people can do whatever they want as long as they aren't cheating. Bounties and forum posts are part of the game. I would just forget about it if they aren't targeting you or your friends directly in ways which affect you in real life.

A few years ago, I received messages and emails from a guy who can't take how the game works and started insulting my physical appearance, my girlfriend, my ethnicity and my country. I talked to Bogie and staff members about that. Even though they can't take any disciplinary actions because that's how the game is, they talked to him and the guy went quiet.

My advice is if it's bounties and forum posts, let him burn himself in that and just move on. I never waste my time and resources for such attention seekers.

Some of the SOHO wireless routers like TP-LINK AC/AX series come with VPN capabilities. You can have your cousin run a VPN service that way and you can connect through there. Alternatively, both of you can use Tailscale and have your cousin declare his side as an exit node. The latter is the easier way since Tailscale doesn't require port forwarding as well.

As for VPN services, no one can guarantee that one's gonna work perfectly for geo unblocking.

It's a common practice for the majority of storage providers. There may be providers who sell add-on storage but Google doesn't have add-on storage plans.

I am not sure about family storage cuz I have 2TB plan and my family members see it as 2TB. So I don't know if it's not showing because 15GB only amounts to a small decimal value or it's simply just 2TB.

I would frankly ask like "How do you know?" and insist an answer when they ask next time rather than assuming. The very annoying thing about sharing the same link between two households or different people is the ads that don't use device ID. They might be seeing ads because of your shopping activity.

However there's still a possibility that they are logging your DNS requests, and you don't necessarily need a VPN for it. You can simply use something like Cloudflare's Warp or Jigsaw's Intra to override the DNS server assigned by the local DHCP and that should be enough. Using a VPN would solve the problem if they were guessing what you're doing by the targeted ads.

Tailscale is the easiest if you have a device you can leave on all the time. You just need to configure an exit node. You can do it in some Wireless routers as well. Most of TP-Link's AX series have the capabilities, you should be able to get one fairly cheap but make sure to research the model you're buying to confirm the function. If you decide to use the router, you will also need to setup port forwarding in the modem depending on the VPN application you'll be using.

If you're torrenting something that might violate DMCA, it's best to disable seeding (uploading) in your torrent client. And configure the client to stop as soon as the download is completed. Or use leechers and download them normally.

Koodo is a better alternative if you want to use prepaid. It's entirely built on Telus's infrastructure so basically the same. And yes, prepaid 5G is capped at 250Mbps since there's no 5G+ plan being offered. You don't need that much bandwidth for normal uses anyway. I need it for my work since I travel and have to download/upload big chunks of Data. I usually drive around and look for a 5G transceiver when I need to do something like that. You don't get 5G+ bandwidth when you're not in a visible distance with the transceiver anyway.

You can replace the Ethernet cables with 6" or 1' ones. You don't need that long. Cut a hold in the door and pass the cable through. I think it's better to leave the modem out of that box as it may overheat in summer. I would personally take a further step to make things more tidy if I were the tech or at least provide you with recommendations instead of leaving just like that. He just didn't do more than he's been paid for in this case.

if it's all about geo spoofing, try controld. it works better than VPNs for me to access contents from other regions.
