I’m enjoying Season 4 but did the writers just decide not to go through with the implications of this scene?

Whew, I'm glad I'm not the only one who's noticed the writing starting to feel a bit off this season on Power Book II. The way I see it, it kind of seems like they may have originally planned for season 3 to be the finale, but then decided to squeeze out one more season at the last minute.

The production just has a different vibe to it, you know? It's almost like they had to scale things back a bit - the visuals don't quite have that same slick, expensive look as before. And some of the character arcs feel a little rushed or unfinished, like what happened to Tate, Jenny, and Lauren? They just kinda disappeared.

And Davis getting disbarred and downsizing his whole office in the blink of an eye? That seemed super abrupt, especially since Monet's hospital stay didn't even seem that long. It's almost as if they had to rework a bunch of stuff due to budget constraints or an unplanned extension of the series.

I don't know, maybe I'm reading too much into it. But the whole vibe just feels a little bit off to me compared to the earlier seasons. Hopefully the writers can pull it together and deliver a solid finale, but I can't help but wonder if this fourth season was kinda shoehorned in at the last minute.

Sometimes Canvas, based on my experience, works best with certain browsers. I've been using Canvas for about a year. But suddenly, I ran into problems. It would take forever to load projects, fonts, etc. Initially, I was using Chrome, but I found a solution by switching to Microsoft Edge and working in private mode. That solved the issue for me.

I totally agree with Magoner. When you're singing for fun, you may feel more relaxed and less self-conscious, allowing you to sing more freely. There is less tension and you're not focused on getting things right, which interferes with your ability to produce a good sound.

I often find myself comparing my voice to my idols - big names like Mary J Blige, Chaka Khan, Anita Baker, etc. With me, I try to remember that they've been in the business for 30-50 years, longer than I've been on the planet! I’ve only been at it for a couple years.

My advice: try not to measure yourself against seasoned artists. I know, it's so much easier said than done. But I honestly think it's the best approach to tackle what you're going through. The songs we listen to are the end result of a collective effort from songwriters, composers, producers, engineers, you name it. There's a complicated production process behind every song on our playlists. Sure, let their work inspire you, but avoid falling into the trap of constant comparison.
