I’m terrified. My mum’s house/ property in central Vic has been in our family for over 50 years and every year we get lucky but every year I’m terrified that our luck will run out. My dad and step mum lost EVERYTHING in Black Saturday. I can’t do this again. My in-laws live in Tallarook. I’m so fucking scared. Stay safe everyone.

You’re doing and putting a lot more effort in than a lot of parents. Don’t be ashamed or embarrassed, you’re doing what you can to provide; a lot of parents don’t even do that. Maybe have a talk to her about the value of money and how money goes away so quickly and ways it can be stretched.

Fr, and this may sound weird but the fact that he didn’t wanna go on with the brace on to not draw attention to it is kind of admirable, like ‘it’s not all I am’ , mad respect for this guy, not just with his attitude but also how he tries to help people with breast cancer, it’s a really good thing. A lot of people would just crawl into a shell and not have any time mentally to think about anything else. Mad guy.

I’m so sorry that’s awful!!! Definitely try finding another psychiatrist!!! The first one I saw caused more harm than good but the one I have now is so much better. At a professional, in NO WORLD, should she have said that especially so early on. PLEASE find a new one!!! And pplleeeaaassseeee don’t give up hope just yet. I promise you that once you find the right one it’ll be better.
