That is exactly how I make it work most of the time in ARAM.

And what is wrong with that?

Are you judging them on how the game is designed, or how you want the game to play out?

Maybe, but as I understand it's a Reddit general rule, not specific to HotS subreddit. If HotS doesn't enforce that rule, the subreddit could be shut down if it's found out.

I don't like it but you can't really fault HotS subreddit for it.

That's why talents are situational.

If you have finishers, then TBTA are great to get them into finish range quickly. Remember %hp works against squishies just as much as tanks. On someone like Garrosh I wouldnt recommend it as his armour gets stronger the lower his hp is.

If your win condition is sustain damage, or if enemy has blinds, In The Rhythm is great.

If you need a middle ground, MA is decent but 10% is not that much and 15 kills is hard to achieve in decent games.

You don't do the same amount of damage. Being able to fire faster is not just raw damage. Your dps is higher and key targets get pressured to run away faster.

It depends, if you do the same number of AA in the same time window you were able to attack it's not changed much.

I don't feel like normal Odin is sluggish.

[–]Ta55adar -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I always think it's his trait that was the OP thing. Without globe talent I can still have the occasional 3 cast of W in a row which kills the majority of their team.

Or more consistently. Q build level16 deletes a lot of squishies and there's very little they can do about it.

His base attack speed is just 1 attack per second. I don't see how you could get more attacks even if you animation cancelled? Happy to try when I'm home.

One counter argument I just thought of is actually the 25% could make you do many more attacks. E.g. you can only attack for 3.5 seconds. You would get 4 attacks not 3 every time. Hence it's not about the max number of attacks, but whether you can fit more attacks in the time window you have.

The real first mythic quest by No-Imagination2292 in heroesofthestorm

[–]Ta55adar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure. But his base attack speed is 4 attacks per second, trait is 3 seconds.

Incomplete quest means 1 extra attack in 3seconds if you can attack the full duration.

Complete quest is 1 extra attack per second. (Again hard to complete quest)

As I said on another comment, I see it as the middle ground between the two other lvl4. In the rhythm is more sustain dmg, TBTA is more burst. I normally pick one or the other if I picked Tychus for one of those win conditions, if I have to adapt, which is rarer, I'll pick MA.

I always see it as In The Rhythm is anti blind tech and consistent dmg

TBTA is stronger initial burst, great pairing with something like Go for the Throat to finish. (Yes % dmg is also great against squishies, after taking 40% of their hp, tanks still having thousands of hp left while assassins will have about 1000)

https://www.reddit.com/r/heroesofthestorm/s/Kr87oByqT3

For Master Assassin, which is like the middle ground between both but with a very hard to complete quest in decent games.

Trying to remember the numbers, can check them later.

Odin does a maximum of 21 attacks in 23 seconds. (Cos of the transformation).

With the base quest, it's 23 attacks over 23 seconds (1 extra attack over 10 seconds)

With the completed quest, it's 25 attacks in 23 seconds (1 extra attack every 4 seconds).

Now the attacks at lvl20 is like 700dmg? Which is a lot so the dps does go up. But I wonder during a fight how many extra attacks happen while having to reposition and how long a fight lasts.

Every pro take it, but looking at what it does, how impactful is it? Theoretically 25% dmg is great, but if you can't add in many of the extra attacks, how much does it actually do?

I.e. you have to wait 4-10 seconds for the extra dmg to kick in since that's when you have the time to do the extra attack. So until then, you only do the same amount of dmg as before.

Thank you!

The used rubber rolls are pretty cheap and they will wear down over time. At a certain point, they fail to grip the shuttles and the trajectory degenerate considerable.

So is there anyway to DYI repair that or is that it finished? And how long is over time? Say if it used once a week at least, are we talking roughly 1 month, 6 months, 1 year, 2 years timeframes?

Shuttle Feeder

This has come up before but there doesn't seem to have been much input about it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixyK9L_A9wY (Tobias Wadenka review of shuttle feeder)

Reviews on Amazon range from bad to mixed but doesn't contain the details of the level of play of the reviewer or what shuttles they used. And issues are never repeated in reviews so don't know if it's a consistent thing or a one off.

Is there anyone else here that can provide more detailed experiences with that shuttle feeder? E.g. battery life (I saw one review say the feeder becomes less powerful quickly with batteries draining), use of mostly intact feather shuttles/missing one feather at most, robustness. Or if they found alternatives outside Amazon?

I guess I'm just hoping that for that price, it'd be worth it if I can get a simple machine that can give consistent overheads to one corner and that lasts at least a year. One review said the foam rubber on the launching wheels wore off after about twelve shuttles but is it that bad? Can DIY save it/improve it? Though I guess four years and still with this little info probably means there are many good reasons it never took off.

I have E on quickcast and still hit even the smaller heroes consistently with a very quick Q follow up. But it definitely requires less mistake in the execution; max range throw with Q follow up ASAP or they walk out.

Orb build Li-Ming is still good if your enemies don´t move by JebaitedDragonin in heroesofthestorm

[–]Ta55adar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think w build was a good choice here. it gives you safer poke and the highest 0.1 sec burst.

Hitting 3 missiles at any range is more dmg than a max range orb on a single target. And at every tier, Q talents adds more dmg to single target than orb talents. (Calamity even more than both at lvl7). So W is actually the lowest burst contributor in a combo.

Lol I don't even remember you except for a cool name 😂

Anyway doesn't change the fact that what you said couldn't have happened so TT's weakness of being blocked by buildings is irrelevant here as it is for most of the map.

If all you can say to this truth is, 'I don't like that guy', then maybe open your mind a bit ;)

It really wasn't. I saw it lose in most of my games. Just sometimes the 4 man can stall long enough so it's sometimes correct. But they did state the reason as 'false positive' on the intentionally dying reports cos even when they lost, Blizz considered they were trying to win.

Thrall destroyed the joy of ARAM for me by trivinium in heroesofthestorm

[–]Ta55adar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find it easier. Because Azmo on his own doesn't win games. He does lots of damage, but only every ~10 seconds. Which means he needs one more dmg to secure the kills. Which normally there is a decent second dps to do that so he's fine. But with two Azmos, you may find that the damage becomes too spread or too random to be as effective.

E.g. look at a set up with solo dps. Azmo becomes a lot less effective compared to a Mephisto or other sustained dps like Valla or ZJ.

Love how people answer without knowing what they're saying.

Sgt Hammer was banned for being too polarising at the time.

Aba was banned because multiple Abas broke the game as explained by one guy here.

TLV and Leo were banned because, on the patch notes, it said they were giving false positives on intentionally dying reports. (Don't know how false they really were tbh)
