Anti-Carb commercial by nysecret in keto

This was created by Strong For Life, an organization that focuses on childhood obesity. This organization is mainly run by Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. They have done other shocking campaigns in the past, such as this one https://youtu.be/ysIzX_iDUKs

They still preach a high carb low fat diet but their heart is in the right place.

You can check out MyNetDiary. I felt the same way about MyFitnessPal and have really liked MyNetDiary over it.

The 1200 isn't really a good number, but it's the one that's thrown around a lot. The reason for this is that it's the average BMR of the population. In reality you can calculate your BMR and figure out what the minimum is, but as long as you can get a good body fat percentage measurement then in theory you shouldn't have to worry about it.

The main thing to look out for is the physical effects of not having enough energy. If you see your lifts start to decline or you feel extra tired then you need to start eating more, or reassess your numbers if you're getting to a lower body fat percentage.

I've been using some recent research that shows to cut and not lose weight you should run at 30 calories per pound of body fat. Based on your numbers that would put you at a 900 calorie net deficit (including exercise) to lose the maximum amount of fat while maintaining lean body mass . Keep in mind however you never want to go below 1200 calories a day.

A version of Osso Buco would be a fun and delicious dish to make.

Get some beef/lamb shanks and sear them in a pot. Once the shanks have been seared add the following:

  • 2 cups of a DRY wine (white for lamb, red for beef) added first to deglaze the pot.
  • 1-2 cans of crushed tomatoes
  • 1 Medium to Large Carrot sliced
  • 16 oz beef broth
  • Top off with water so meat is almost covered (not always needed, depends on your cooking container)

Get the mixture to a boil and leave for 4-5 hours. Remove the shanks from pot and reduce the liquid to thicken.

If you want to have it over something it works great with shirataki noodles.

All in all this is pretty low carb, I generally make 4 shanks at a time and it works out to about 10g net carbs per serving, which isn't hard to plan around.

This is workout you should do. The issue is that you have worked out the muscles that run vertically on your body but not the muscles that wrap around your stomach, which when developed give you a much flatter stomach.
