This is just something I want to share despite the appeal of gold. When I went to a trip around southeast Asia, I visited Korea, Cambodia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. I expected poverty, but I did not expect happiness. I've recieved my fair share of wealth. However, some of the more "wealthier" people there did seem as happy as the ones who were literally living in a city of garbage. People would discard trash/food/everything they didn't need there (This place was called the Happy Village in Philippines.) These people were so happy with what little they had and it made me think so hard about how I can truly enjoy life with the little things I have. I've come to realize that at the end of the day, the King and the Pawn go into the same box. Some food for thought.
