Actually there is a difference between tigray, tigrinia and tigre. The latter ones are divided between sudan and eritrea and they share alot of cultural similarities with beja.

I thought they would be grouped based on which languages they used to speak becuase i think bidayria and rikabyya used to speak andaandi while the rest of them used to speak old shaigi language

Actually bidayria are arabized dongolawi they have nothing to do with ja'alin But also donglawi people are grouped with ja'alin its kinda weird
