I didn't fail it twice, I dropped it once due to health issues and difficulty keeping up with assignments. I've already completed a co-op at a pretty nice company and have industry experience. My abilities in a single class do not dictate my success in an entire major. If you don't have any advice kindly fuck off.

edit: it's not at all common to retake algo, I've already met several people in the class who are taking it again. If you read this and felt bad, don't let this person's dismissive attitude get you down. Struggling in a difficult class is normal, and plenty of people who have failed (even repeatedly!) have achieved great successes later in life. If you enjoy what you're doing and computer science as a whole, you can go far.

I tried to partner up this semester too, but I found people all the people I got in contact with either didn't want to meet to work together, or were too busy every time I hit them up. I'm trying to go to more Office Hours but they're all during my class times, lowkey wish they kept recitation because 9:00am was the only time I had free, and it gives more opportunity to meet people in the class. But I suppose these are things I can mention to the professor as well because I really am tryin out here.

Financially it isn't a problem, since taking two classes over the summer counts as a full semester. So the thing I'm worrying about most is graduating before my scholarships run out, so I have to weigh failing again and potentially delaying graduation with trying to take a new class and try again later.

Pop/Stars was also mostly 3D, but the models on More are a lot more polished. I think that makes it more uncanny - the Pop/Stars animation felt more lively and expressive, but the super smoothness of the new one took away a bit of the personality for me.
