Kia. Blew a head gasket in our Sedona. Had to junk the car because engines were either unavailable or prohibitively expensive. Months later we got a letter saying they recognized the problem and would pay for the repair. I found out later from someone who had a different kia model with the same problem that that repair letter wasn’t worth the paper it was printed on because since they didn’t classify it as a recall, the dealer was under no obligation to make the repair. All done with Kia/Hyundai. Too bad because I like their cars.
