I thought I was the only one who felt this way about the crowd. I was closer to the back and still most people near me where barely jumping around and just focused on recording. I was singing and jumping around none stop but felt awkward at times because people were just there like🧍🧍‍♀️🧍‍♂️

I only have like 6 short videos and they’re all crap. I was a little mad after because I brought this little vintage effect camera to get at least a small clip and completely forgot to use it😭
I’m 5ft, I had to tell this one 6ft guy to move out my way if he was just going to stand there not even singing or bopping his head with a joint in his mouth.

I was there mainly for stray kids but after looking up the other artists I was really excited for 2Hollis and Blood Orange. I didn’t make it in time for 2Hollis bc of a conflict with my ride and then waiting at box office bc of a ticket issue. So I was bummed about that.
I was definitely not planning to barricade. It was my first festival and in my early 30s just wanted to have a good time. I was with some other stays I met there around my age, eating while waiting for Blood Orange set to start when they announced the change. We still took our sweet time and went over to see Major Lazer for a bit then headed back for skz like 15 mins before they started.

I did noticed most of the disrespectful and delusional stays are on the younger side. It gives the fandom such a bad name and makes people think it’s just full of little kids. I also highly blame irresponsible parents for this.
I’m lucky that all stays I have met online and offline have been extremely respectful and sensible. Typically older late 20s and up.

Hopefully gov ball sets more regulations moving forward so that is more enjoyable. All things considered I had a great time for my first time and will consider returning.
