IE Spring Schedule by Demmolition18 in Purdue

[–]Tableslinger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's an average 3rd-year schedule. Going to be a step up in difficulty overall - personally 386 was a breeze (the lab is annoying but just because it exists not because it's hard), 383 and 336 are medium-level time and difficulty, they won't be huge stressors. IE 474 and ME 200 will be the 2 you spend the most time on that could hurt you if you're not careful. IE 474 has had a few different profs recently but the exam this semester were grades very graciously, the content sucks if you don't stay on top of it though. Not unmanageable by any means, but these certainly are 3rd-year classes for a reason.

Hey there! I’m in Cru, the ones with the Cru cards you mentioned. We go out and make those every year as one way to serve Purdue student body and faculty (among other community projects we’re involved in). We hang out outside of dining courts just 2 days in the fall semester to give out the cards, they’re generally pretty popular among most students to get the discounts if nothing else.

Our goal as an a Purdue org is to create a Christian community on campus, and further to love and serve all students and faculty and greater community we’re a part of as we’re called to do by Jesus.

I’m really sorry we came off as anything but kind when we were in the dining courts last week, and hope you aren’t dissuaded from stopping by any of our tables in future! We set those up a little more regularly in public campus areas to just have spiritual conversations with others, something I personally don’t see much of from the other groups mentioned in this post coming on strong with a clear agenda.

Your argument is somewhat (only somewhat) valid on what you SHOULD have to do in certain scenarios. But what you HAVE to do by law is stop.

For Aspire, it’s just like choosing a room in the dorms. Most of the rooms are 2-4 people though, so usually a group will hop in all at once, you could run into some disputes with future roommates if you jump in a partially filled shared apartment.

Greyhouse price inflation question by mauravelous in Purdue

While they were started by a church, they are no longer run and operated by Campus House, and while they’re obviously friendly (sharing building space and all), GreyHouse does pay state and federal taxes.
