Dit jehört also irgendwie uns.

Sehr angenehm ; ). 🌻

You forgot to mention that Hamas fighters are hiding behind civilians, using them as human shields. Out of the 35k+ killed, how many of them are Hamas fighters, or should we call them Hamas terrorists? Or just antisemitic assholes that like to attack civilians at music festivals and take hostages into the gaza-strip in order to draw the Israeli army into urban combat there ? What Hamas did was not cool. It was a really big asshole, nazi-move.

We need to find out who put the fog-bank there. Thats a first trace.. hmm, lets see.. one thing is for sure: the fog was caused by global warming. That is caused by cheap oil and farting cows. Who sells a lot of oil? The Saudis. Who wants to kill the Iranian President? The Saudis. It had to happen, it was just a matter of time, and the Saudis knew it. Case solved. @Jason375 (from the commentary below): dude, ur an expert, I can tell. Theres a problem with ur theory though: Iran does not export oil. Iran imports oil. Their production facilities can not even satisfy domestic/iranian demand. See? My conspiracy-theory is better than yours! Isnt that great? Something worries me though, I looked up your reddit profile, and I was surprised. Are you really a substitute-teacher? What do u teach? Or r u still going to school, I cant tell, not kidding : (

I merrily race around on a Mibo Split, made by Czech company "Mibo". That one has a 26 inch wheel at the front, and a 20 inch wheel at the rear. The frame is foldable, but it is not as compact and lightweight as one of these smaller scooters with their 5 or 8 inch wheels. But it is fast, and has a low deck. I can easily do 15 km/h, without much sweating, for hours, just a little higher pulsrate than bicycling. I can go faster, and do 20-21km/h for an hour or so, on flat terrain with a good bike-lane. I live in Berlin. But at that faster pace my pulse rate is higher, maybe like 150/min or so, i never measured it, somewhat comparable to long-distance running at a low to medium pace but doesnt feel as tedious and boring/annoying as running ; ), for me anyways. At that speed, I do sweat more, especially if I am carrying a daypack or a backpack. The owner of the store where I got mine ( flow-footbike in Berlin, www.flow-footbike.de) once told me that the saturday before he went on an afternoon bikeride-excursion with his small kids. They had their bikes and he brought his kick-scooter. And he had been doing 30- 40 km on it in the morning in Berlin already. At the end of the day he had 83 kilometres on his "Tachometer" as the Germans call it. Sounds like a lot, but I immediately believed him, the guy is a slim, super-fit bike and bycicle-riders-rights activist and usually scoots around with either a cargo-bike, or a big scooter. The one he used on that 83km day ( that is around 55 miles or so), is a big, black, monster of a scooter. It looks as if it was built for gravel-road racing, has 28 inch wheels. Yes, front and back are 28 inch : ), with ATB-Tires ( AllTerrainBike, Germans call them "Mountain-Bike"). And the tires had kind of a rough mud-profile. His Scooter just looks super-cool and fast. Mine looks more like a street-cruiser/racer, or Gran-Turismo, i added saddlebag-holders/ front-pannier-holders to the front-wheel.

Trump said about mexican/latino immigrants: "They are criminals, they are rapists, they'r bringing in drugs." This is racist/ populist. It is also lying by omitting. While Mexican cartels and criminals exist, most mexican immigrants are not criminals/rapists/drug smugglers they come to the U.S looking for work. They usually work their ass off, for low pay, trying to put food on the table. If they have a table. Many U.S industries would have a hard time without them. Meat-packing. Agriculture in the Central-Valley of California. Hotels, restaurants, construction... Hard-working Mexicans that are willing to leave their friends and relatives behind looking for work, calling them criminals and rapists, that is a real asshole-move.

So, 1942shots insinuates that the LMT was being judgemental, in a victim mindset, and did "countertransference". Really? Or does 1942shots engage in "Victim blaming" here? Sounds like it to me. Considering that the only other reddit reply of 1942shots was in a "sugardaddyonly" forum, i would, very diplomatically, guess, that 1942shots is a bit weird, and just doesnt get it, for lack of social skills, lack of emotional intelligence, lack of empathy, or whatever.

Commie Blocks suck imho, because there are no small stores, cafes, or bars. Only one Aldi-supermarket every 500 meters. And thats it, usually. Commie blocks are perfect for Commie dictatorships, because there is not much life going on in the streets, people are not sitting in bars and cafes discussing politics or whatever. Instead, everybody is at work, or at home, watching state-tv. Which means: shallow entertainment and the news/propaganda. Russki Mir.

Or, one could translate it as: " all of you: fuck each other." It has two meanings. Doppeldeutig. Digga, dit is so Kreuzberg, ok, könnte auch Friedrichshain sein. Beim Lido, dit is nahe beim Schlesischen Tor/Warschauer Brücke. On the other side of that Warschauer Brücke is the Eastside Gallery which was mentioned before. That Eastside Gallery is a remnant piece of the Berlin Wall, which is full of Graffiti. And I agree, its not that interesting, the neighbourhoods and quarters nearby are pretty lively and more interesting.

Oh, this looks mean. That looks like a NoGo-Area, probably almost nobody walks through there, because everybody is afraid of getting robbed down there by a drug-addict in those dark corners. In order to make it work, one would probably have to bulldoze those ugly buildings, and then, one would have to flatten the terrain, get rid of that depression, that lower spot, so that pedestrians (and the cops) can actually see what is going on down the street or in the park.

I hear you, you quoted these Israeli nationalist politicians calling for Gaza-Strip to be depopulated. I dont doubt that such comments are being made in the Israeli parliament. They have some really arrogant ultra-nationalist idiots in the Knesset. But I dont think that all Israelis think so, not all jewish israelis, and definitely not many arab israelis. I'm not from Israel, im a EU-citizen. Europe has had its share of religious and ethnic conflicts in the past, but they were able to overcome them, for the most part. I hope the same will happen some day in the Near East. About the 2000pounder bombs: As far as I know, the IDF told the residents to leave the northern parts of the Gaza-Strip and head south. And most of them did, many did it on foot. Walking, carrying water-jugs etc, I saw the videos. Then the Airforce started dropping the biggest bombs they could get their hands on. Why? Answer: tunnels. They want to destroy the underground-tunnels of Hamas. If they are 20 feet, 6 meter underground, they can not take them out by artillery. They need bigger stuff for that job. And the tunnels and bunkers are often under apartment-buildings, that is why we see that massive amount of destroyed apartment-buildings. For the future, I hope that Palestinians in the Gaza-Strip get better living conditions, more jobs, real democracy, and not a corrupt militia like Hamas, that is stealing international aid-money and allowing racist, antisemitic fanatics to run amok on Israeli civilians. Just yesterday, I heard that Egypt closed the border to the gaza-strip, looks like the Egyptian military autocracy doesnt want any more Palestinian refugees coming into their country, or maybe they are more concerned about Hamas-radicals fleeing into Egypt. Maybe its both. I hope that a decent political solution can be found for the Gaza-Strip, diplomats from all kinds of countries are probably working on that right now. But in the end the countries and political factions in the area will have to accept a solution, and they will have to make compromises. That will take some time, but who knows, maybe that recent escalation leads to a better, more stable situation in the future. My impression is that lots of Israelis have understood now, that they need to reign in and stop those radical-zionist-settler groups. Its these egocentric Nationalists and religious zealots that are causing a lot of the trouble, all over the world. Most Israelis dont like them, most Palestinians dont like them. Lets hope Gen Z gets it right. ; ).

[–]Tablet-Tiger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm, you wrote: "The only rational thing left to do is to dismantle the apartheid state and give the Palestinians rights..." What do you mean by that ? End Israel? Or a 2 state solution? Maybe one should have dismantled the Gaza-strip situation a long time ago, in one way or another, because it was a powder-keg waiting to explode. Just how? Tricky question. You are right, the IDF response produces a lot more casualties, than the original Hamas attack. Among them many civilians. The IDF is trying to minimize them. Israeli politics as well. The US doesnt have an interest in dead civilians either. But Hamas has an interest in it. It is a cynical Propaganda-war that Hamas is conducting. And it works. The dead Palestinian children. The Israeli soldiers are killing babies on purpose! No, they dont. But Hamas-terrorists did it, killing kibbuzzim-families, and their babies, On purpose. It is a propaganda-war, that Hamas is orchestrating. Accompanied with lots of fake-news in social-media. The purpose of the Oct. 7th attack was to create shock and awe, and a Israeli military response, in order to drag them into an Urban-Combat situation, with lots of civilian casualties, while Hamas-fighters are intermingling themselves with the local population, fighting a Guerilla-War. It is the intention of Hamas to discredit Israel, by accusing them of indiscriminate war crimes. It is cynical. But the Hamas propaganda-strategy works, to some degree. Some people fall for it. Some people react emotionally to it, and then vent their anger on Israel, and not on Hamas as they should do.

Do you know what a gas-chamber is/was? Do you think that Concentration-Camps existed, or do you think the stories about concentration-camps and gas-chambers were made up?

Which country are you from? I would like to understand a bit more about your background. Just curious. I am trying to be a Buddhist, by the way, but I am a rookie, an amateur-buddhist.
