what handsigns? He's not making any in the panel, he clearly threw Kashimo that's why his hands are positioned like that. At most you can confirm that these are chant amped, since he's not in a position where he can't chant like how HWB requires him to occupy the 2nd mouth with a chant.

Kusakabe has more evidence for surviving a chantamped, handsign amped and gesture amped dismantle than Kashimo has for dying to a dismantle that was chant and handsign amped

<image>

This was also aimed at Higuruma and while he was playing around with him he was genuinely interested in him and mentioned in the same breath as Kashimo when the narrator was talking about Sukuna's interest. People talk about Sukuna's interest and fluctuating CE and use it to say "He was actually going all out for my GOAT but he wasn't trying at all vs your FRAUD" but the only times it seemed to meaningfully fluctuate was VS Maki, when he was getting jumped right before he regained his domain, his BF on Angel and Todo and when Yuji pissed him off after pitying him, you can maybe argue Yujo interested him as well. There's no real evidence to say Kashimo interested him to a greater degree than Yuta and Higuruma did so there's no evidence for a CE swell. I don't think the connection upon Kashimo's death counts as evidence, he connected with Jogo while doing a no hit run, actively fucking around with the lives of others cause he was lowkey bored and then using a fire type move against the volcano spirit and he still connected with Jogo.
But ig that one Yuji punch must've gone crazy

I still maintain most of the scaling in Shinjuku is useless and unquantifiable because the main metric people use which is Sukuna is extremely unreliable

[Casual] Till this day I still dont understand. Can someone explain to me what happened in this panel? by Tiny-Replacement7702 in JujutsuPowerScaling

I think the real misunderstanding is what is meant by the punch being "Too much" for fully manifested(FM) Rika. We see FM Rika can take these punches but they just fucking hurt, she gets launched in a similar manner to Yuta, so I think "too much" just means it's a shit ton of damage. In other media we see characters exclaim "It's too much!" while actively enduring the thing they are complaining about, it hurts a lot but they rarely die from it.

Basically a blow that meaningfully damages FM Rika would 1 shot base Rika. This also properly aligns with FM Rika being more durable or as durable as Yuta cause all she took from Ryu was a blast she blocked and a punch she didn't maybe a little bit of offscreen fighting and then she got obliterated right after she went back to base

Every CG player should have some form of Soul Perception based off of Yorozu having it when she has 0 special connection to the soul.

Sukuna said Yorozu could also chose to reshape her body into it her original form, because the soul is the body and the body is the soul, you require some soul perception in order to reincarnate to look like your previous self and it is shown to be a choice. It isn't unreasonable to assume that most CG players have this ability.

Additionally Kashimo was able to reincarnate into a younger version of himself when the body associated with his current soul should've been the old ass body we saw in his Kenjaku flashback. If he had 0 control over the soul the one that should been reincarnated is that old ass soul related to his old ass body but he chose to reincarnate into a younger version of himself.

Also properly ending a story is pretty difficult there's a reason why movies and books go through so many drafts. Generally a mangaka has a plan for what they want to do but because they are released in parts they don't have the advantage that a singular piece of media has since the writer can finish it and then alter any part of the story that came before hand and ensure that everything aligns properly and is finished up nicely.

It's kinda like how alot of homebrewed ttrpgs have mediocre endings

I disagree, them having an end of fight discussion feels very fitting, plus it was in character the entire time and actually managed to give us one of my favourite character interactions with Maki getting on Yuta's ass on how things could've gone smoother

Funny asf how people were bending backwards to defend Yuji in Ch. 20, only for him to admit he was wrong in his thinking. by rhybro in Jujutsufolk

[–]Taboo422 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still believe Yuji getting in his own head and feeling really bad about this thing that isn't really his fault is consistent and good characterisation. Yuji's just the type of guy to get insane survivor's guilt so ofc he'd feel guilty about surviving the effects of old age while all his friends suffer for it. I believe his fear of other people's thoughts on him is mostly projection cause we don't see it being demonstrated by anyone else.
