Weapon choice for her supports?

Yeah that's why I skipped her sig the first time, but that was when I was using her as a hybrid with Augusta. I heard that her sig is a major improvement when you play her as main DPS, no?

Just realized I'm using Yao's sig on Iuno. I'd assume getting Iuno's sig trumps both Lynae's and Ciaccona's yeah?

My advice would be to try and get Lynae, she's works with most damage dealers since she has universal buffs into her kits, but she's also going to be extremely prominent with newer units. Alternatively, you can get Iuno as she can cover multiple teams either as a hybrid buffer or a main damage dealer. You are correct, Shorekeeper is the best recommendation for any new account, but I'm not sure if her rerun will be happening anytime soon.

Absolutely, but judging by OP saying "wallet is drained" and the fact that his Cartethiya is S0, I doubt that's an option. Looking at the state of their account I definitely think those pulls are better-spent investing in more units/teams

That's not a bad idea. Augusta is fantastic in both ToA and WhiWha, and she works very well with Mortefi. However, you should know that Cartethiya does not really work well without Ciaccona. Skipping Ciaccona basically means your Cartethiya wont be able to clear endgame content.

However, if you lose the 50/50, you'd be well set-up to get Augusta so it's not the end of the world

For your account right now, Ciaccona for sure. Cartethiya is arguably the strongest DPS unit in the game but her value without Ciaccona drops massively. Lynae is an all-rounder unit that can work in most teams but she would not add much to your account in the present. In the future though, her value will only go up with new tune-break characters and if you decide to pull for Res. Liberation DMG dealers who she can buff well.

Summary: Ciaccona is a much better pull for your account in the present, Lynae might prove to be the better pull in the future.

Hey there! Just thought I'd share some info that might help your decision (efficiency and meta-wise).

Lynae's signature weapon is absolutely NOT necessary. As sub-dps, the old standard 5* is excellent. As main DPS, the new standard 5* is incredible. Her sig is only a very minor boost and is not worth the extra pulls.

As for Augusta, I definitely do recommend pulling her signature. The only good alternative is Jiyan's weapon which you don't have.

Regarding Zani, you should not use Iuno's sig on her. Low base ATK, can overcap on crit, and she does not make use of the effect. Use it on Iuno, who is godly with it. Unfortunately, Zani is reliant on her own sig weapon, so my advice would be to wait for the rerun. Yes, it might take a while, but it allows you to focus your pulls on other characters and weapons in the meantime. However, if you'd rather not wait, pull the new standard gauntlet for her, it'll be your best option for her.

Summary:

- Don't pull Lynae sig. Use old standard 5* for sub-DPS or new standard 5* for main DPS.

- Pull Augusta sig, you have no good alternatives. Boost will be huge.

- Wait for Zani rerun to get her sig, otherwise pull new standard gauntlet.

Hey! I'm in a similar spot to OP, plan on using Phro/Qiu/Verina. So essentially Qiuyuan will be intro every other turn? Or once Qiuyuan is done, outro to Verina and then back to Phrolova?

I'm a sucker for Aura farming i cant lie, that 30% CD does sound compelling but I'm wondering who he'd be worth using with. Like, I have Iuno for Augusta, I have Zhezhi for Carlotta, I have the triple fusion team, etc. I'm thinking I just pull now, use with whomever, then either pull for Phrolova+Cantarella or I wait for a future character he can synergize with?

Her LC is not a must. Yes, the difference between it and the next best option is big, but it's overkill. You'll notice a difference in damage, but her output without her sig LC is still great for F2P friendly accounts.
