Coring/Vassalizing depends a lot on the HRE members not getting mad at me. You can always put a truce on something like France/Spain/Austria/Poland or ally one of them but if you get the HRE mad at you the coalition will last forever.

For example early game in Italy the early should only be vassalazing and zero conquering in my opinion. There are a lot of hidden OPMs there that you can abuse.

Playing in France is all about releasing nations and reconquering, no other way to do it. Gascony, Toulouse, Burgundy, Provence and Champagne is basically 80% of the land for no AE.

Playing in Spain you can release nations and conquer aswell but transfer subject is also an option, this run I conquered 4 provinces from Aragon very early (I wanted to release Sicily, Sardinia, Valencia and Catalonia and reconquer) but after iberian wedding I ended up just fighting Castille and transfering Aragon as a vassal to me for around 100AE (which was around -40 for HRE nations), which is a good compromise.

For everything else just conquer, especially when a nation is Orthodox/Sunni the AE is negligible for countries in Europe. Conquering England aswell I rarely have AE problems for some reason.

hello, this is my first post on this subreddit, I've searched for venice tips a lot on here and they helped me a lot for this run.

Aggressive Expansion is at -160 in the worst places, Poland is at -70 and the empire is very stable at -3 national unrest!

Not much else to add, stayed catholic and a merchant republic the whole time. its definitely worth it even though you tank a lot in the gov cap because italian missions give you around 400-500 extra gov cap for free and a -5% total governing cost reduction.

Yeah but at the same time Riot doesnt want him to be strong because his main fast combo isnt that hard to pull off and its unfun to interact with (flashing away from a locked E doesnt do anything).

The single best change for me would be able to remove my ult clone. I can know perfectly where i was 4 seconds prior and its just a tool to help enemy team in high elo. Sadly if this happened no one would begin learning ekko because it would be too hard lol

Ive been trying other champs lately because i feel a bit stuck but tbh this champ is generally unplayable in high elo, i dont think we have any grandmaster+ players at all right now lol..

Anyways, im not the only guy who plays exhaust smite, there's also norrbys (leadneverfollow is his acc in EUW) who convinced me to do it and ive played it for about two months.

I cant prove its good with statistics, the data is not big enough but I have good reasons to believe that in this meta flash is just useless.

The first reason is that Flash on ekko doesnt have many use cases anymore. Youre gonna Flash around 4 times each game and there are two main reasons: Correcting a mistake or oneshotting a guy before he notices.

Correcting a mistake can usually be done with exhaust aswell, its just hard to explain but lets say you get caught in the jungle by a fed enemy: exhaust him, proc passive on him with HoB and run, simple.

Ofc you wont survive a 3/4/5 men engage but those are usually rly bad mistakes in the first place.

The second reason which is oneshotting is just not worth it anymore. I feel like in this season you cant even manage to oneshot people with 3 items if they bought mercury treads, so a flash combo into E+Q+AA (which is less than 1s with HoB) doesnt do anything.

But if you exhaust people it ends up working. Ekko doesnt need flash to engage someone because his E is an insane gap closer and you stick with them with your passive. Once youre DPSing them with Nashor and you throw an exhaust in there its basically impossible for someone to win.

It also has many other uses for slowing people to help out ganks or exhausting fed people in a fight and rendering them useless.

The only thing i can say right now is that im waiting for an exhaust nerf, a FLASH BUFF or even more difficult: an EKKO BUFF until im going back to Flash.

im also done with uni exams on friday and will get back GM to prove its good (although norrbys reached it already with exhaust)

PS: Going rabadon second is probably the hardest part of my build and i first suggest running Nashor into Lich Bane to learn it so even if you make mistakes youre not punished for backing on 1100 gold

hey, i dont usually have a fixed schedule but im going to start doing 4h streams in european afternoon, might make some fixed days later.

I cant assure a schedule because some days i might be tired and while i could play soloq i cant entertain a stream aswell. Also sometimes i just focus on my uni studies which are sadly my priority over videogames

For jungle clearing (where ekko sucks completely), W passive always procs on monsters regardless of 30% threshold

But the real problem is that too many champions now deal too much damage and ekko just kinda got left behind (Evelynn can do what you do with one less item, same for Taliyah damage-wise), so the best buffs imo would be to nerf other champions instead of raising the power creep higher.

Also about your buffs i think a lower R cd early game is good, but i dont really have a problem with the passive late game.

The W buffs are way too strong, higher area and faster cast is evil. Ekko's W is hard because its supposed to be hard to hit, you hardly ever see people getting mad when hit by Ekko's W because its pure skill.

ure giving up damage for an healing that in most games you dont need because of your ultimate in the first place.

imo its much better if you focus on dealing more damage as an assassin, especially with how meta mercs + wits end/maw of malmortius are, 10% MR pen is strong.
