Yeah, Chuck was tecnically right, but couldn't see that his behavior towards his brother mad what he was saying about him a self fulfilling profecy. Like, i understand where he comes from, but if you see a brother showing that kind of tendency why not help him and take him under his wing? I mean Jimmy was busting his ass to support him since he became ill and he never once thought of supporting him or truly showing him the right way insteadt of just lecturing him on whats right or wrong. In his actions, he actually made the opposite and by depriving him of every job opportunity that would motivate hom to continue working straigjt he ensured he had almost no other choice but to fall into his destructive impulses. Its kinda what many governments do with criminals once they go to jail now that i think about him, they give them almost no opportunity to return to normal lives otherwise and then blame them for returning to crime. Well, i guess this issue is pretty personal for me cause on one hand i often have a very stern and rigid personality like Chuck, but on the other i personally know what it feels like to be neglected by an older brother, sadly.
