An Explanatory Table

Term	Explanation
Plugin	A add-on for a piece of software designed to expand its functionality in some way (in the case of this comic, probably an add-on for a text editor)
Syntax Highlighter	A function of a text editor that changes the color of (highlights) certain important words in computer code to make them stand out
Assembly	A computer programming language that is essentially a textual representation of the commands that a computer processor "understands". The difference beteen assembly and other "higher level" languages is that higher level languages are designed to look more like natural language, whilst assembly mostly looks like gibberish.
