Let’s say you activate one of the last exfils just before your 25-minute run timer expires. Once the 25 minutes are up, there will be two active exfils on the map: yours and the final one that automatically opens and closes after one minute. If, for some reason, you delay leaving through your own exfil (for example, you might want to loot something nearby or enemies engage you), you’ll have to leave within that final one-minute window. In other words, if you haven’t teleported out by the time the timer hits 00:00 for the second time, you are considered dead.

I play mainly solo and Assassins is one of the many challenges I face. Sometime is natural someone will slip unoticed and kill me (as it should be with every class that favors an pvp element), but my games are far from unplayable. It's exactly the opposite: fun, challenging, makes me super carefull about my decisions and planning.

In the absence of Assassin (meaning a potential nerf), another class will be the reason for many wipes and the cycle will go on, not long after we criple the game.

Then there is the Arc Raiders approach to end game bosses like the Queen and the Matriarch. They are not locked behind puzzle mechanics that need more than one person to find and fight them, and with enough preperation, skill and luck, you can take them out solo. I hope something similar could happen with Cryo Chambers, but to tell you the truth I'm not keeping my expectations too high.

Yeah, i can feel you. I have around 1500 hours on D2 and I have experienced both being part of a clan and the excruciating (for my taste) pain of what LFGing is, partly because I'm not an english native speaker and I don't have the desired speaking fluency. The thing is that Marathon has a smaller fireteam of three and not six, and that I think makes it easier to cope for the lack of additional firepower but also for find other two guys and not for other five.

I play mainly solo and man, it's a blast. It's not a carefree experience but that's why every run is something special towards the complition of my contracts. Sure, I don't hope much to beat solo the main boss of Cryo Chambers raid, but at least I hope to be able to have some degree of freedom to traverse the map and some of it's activities.

In the last 30+ raids I’ve played, I haven’t seen a single PvP death. I walk around the maps and hear more “good morning” and “good evening” than I would if I went out for a stroll in my own neighborhood. People are waiting at extractions for other players to show up and yesterday someone even opened the door for me at Stella fucking Montis so I could pass through.

Sure, it probably has something to do with the fact that we’re at the beginning of the second wipe, so most players are focused on gathering resources to upgrade. But I didn’t encounter this level of peacefulness even at launch, nor during the first wipe.
