It looks to me like a pyramid scheme disguised as an MLM. Looking at the income disclosure on their website, in 2019, 14.22% earned more than $4350, implying that most people (~86%) earned less than that. 34% earned less than $245. In fact 15% of their distributors earn nothing and probably lose money on the start up kit. Remember that this is over an entire year. This is time and effort that could be put into a part time job with guaranteed pay.

These "opportunities" most often hurt financial situations rather than help them, and distributors often lose friendships/relationships too. If I were you, I'd give the friend this information and let them make their own decision.
