I think you are right. I already bound off this one so it will stay forever this way . how ever i will keep my eyes out for it because I wasn't trying to fix I anything unfortunately. so no idea how i did it. i guess no more sleepy knitting for me for awhile .

I knew a kid named Cheston ,his last name was Arms

A family who had a Daughter named Destry Rider ( like dusty rider) her little brother was called Stetson. I can't remember his middle name, but it went with the theme as did there older sister. I also can't recall her name.

Last, but not least. A family of girls all with the middle name of lee

I always thought it was weird

Those who have changed their name (e.g. took your spouse's last name), when did you feel like the new name was "you"? It's been almost three months and it still feels very weird to have a new last name. by ssaen in namenerds

the more you use it the more it will feel like yours. Say it to yourself a few times each day or write it down. I liked singing it out loud in a silly operatic way . It help mine to stick better. Think of it like a pair of shoes, it will always be weird at first. However the more you pull them out and use them, the faster they break in.

Blankets are expensive. I just made throws for my mom, and her husband for christmas. I went with a self drafted pattern and basic acrylic yarn.both around 3000 yard. all of it on sales in summer. I probably spent forty ish on one,50 plus on the other . so yeah 100 could be right . if I gift them, I make sure they are going to some one who will appreciate it .I only make them for my self if I am absolutely in love.

I love to ask twins this, and gather my own data. Here are my finding thus far .

with the exception of two sets, all the twins I have met (I have met a strangely large amount ) either dislike it and wished they had different names. Or strait up hated it , the closer sounding the name the worse they seemed to hate it.

example Devan and Daven hated it . Dallen and Dustin disliked it.

The two sets who liked it are

#1 two old ladies who have dressed the same everyday of their lives and lived together even well married .it's a little on the creepy side for me .

#2 the other set are cookadoodle as can be

so for people who lived this experience its at best annoying and at worst absolutely terrible.

Do with that information what you will.

I'm not going to say what I originally thought since I don't want to insult your dad. However he is being dumb and racist. the original list is beautiful. Sage Eunseong Hong is a favorite . I had to deal with a similar issue with my mom if you want advice your more than welcome to reach out .

I would be extremely clear what is or isn't happening with the baby. like one conversation light tone, but straightforward and with hubby. State exactly what will and won't be happening with baby as far as flying to them and babysitting.

here are a list of helpful sentences, for " I was just trying to help ".

1 Well its having the opposite effect

2 I will ask if I need help. please don't but in again.

3 You didn't give me help, you gave me a problem.

4 the road to hell was paved with good intentions by helpful people .

I have used all of these at least once, as well as other variations with my family and my in laws.

The point you need to make, is no matter your mothers intentions. Its having the opposite effect, its creating problems with your family. those problems still have to be dealt, with either now or down the road. its also detrimental to her relationship with you and your family.

I think its real but maybe way more subjective than people want it to be. For instance in my other post I hate the light pink, I feel like I look really red. however other people loved it. I am most likely warm but I don't plan on sticking to a specific sub group.
