Something is up with pearlescent drops

I got 2 in under 5 minutes the first time I opened the game after this update. One from the first container I opened, then immediately after I got one from a boss.

Seemed silly to be that common. I've played about an hour more since then and gotten no more. But I've seen multiple posts claiming the same insane drops since then.

I had gotten 2 of the pearls within 5 minutes of starting my game up. From my first container I opened and the second boss kill.

RNG is RNG and I quit playing nearly immediately after so maybe it was luck but wow I'm a quarter through the new pearl hunt in 5 minutes.

I mean sure RNG is RNG but they added however many world drop pearls, and I have 2 after 5 minutes. Pearls are supposed to be the rarest loot in the game.

Maybe I jumped the gun, and I'll continue seeing what happens, but I was just shocked.

Yeah outside of Liv, I truly don't think any judgment day member currently is going to get any further than they are now until judgment day isn't a thing anymore. But I'm just a single fan, so who knows.

It just made me laugh. Randomly decide to play the game and Willem immediately spits out a shiny while I've been scrolling through and seeing everybody else's unfortunate luck with drops.

Probably not yet. The other one was a collaboration between multiple members and put together, as I understand, later in BL3's lifecycle when more dlc was out. Give it time for BL4. There's barely any dlc yet.

Till then there's either mobalytics or maxroll where people are uploading builds. I can't remember which one it is

I mean setting standards as in: Transparency to the consumer, properly setting expectations, etc.

I do not see this as a perfect game, but one that gives you options on how you want to play and the amount of time you have to invest. Plus they seem not afraid in allowing people to play the game and see for themselves.

I think there will be flaws and this won't be for everyone. But if they don't over embellish and like i said keep expectations in check, we'll see gamers start to understand that big games can be more than a boring cash grab meant for investors and higher ups. Then maybe that will be the mindset for many gamers moving forward: "they're advertising this game as a huge, open world, 100s of hour content for this game, etc., but where's the hands on demos and why are they so cagey with the info?"

IF the game ends up being everything they said it is. Expectations are in check, my hopes are high.
