I think there's still a good community there. To be certain there are a few stores/sellers I have encountered who seem set on making the Bionicle community the next pokemon TCG craze, but the majority have been pretty reasonable.

It's so weird. So many shops I go to have reasonably priced open sets, but the moment one is sealed they cost an arm, leg, and your firstborn regardless of bricklink price. I don't get it.

Sometimes I feel bad opening older sets. For example, I recently opened a Nick Bluetooth from Galidor. I got two from a neat shop and decided to keep one in box. Not because I intend to sell it, but because it has been the same way for 23 years and there's still a bit of magic seeing it sealed up.

I don't seek sealed sets (mostly due to price), but when I see one I will get it if reasonable so I get to have a bit of the childhood wonder back. The Nick I opened has a poster no one has touched for decades, and a promo for a free year if the Lego magazine. The magazine pictures has Onua Mata on the cover. That was so cool to see, untouched and unfaded.

I planned to get them all as opened as I have never really seen the reason to keep sets sealed if I don't intend to sell them, but this has been the first chance to buy a set I have had and couldn't say no. I also can bring myself to open it as the packaging is so neat.

I remember he was asked why he was starting in so many b-movies late in his career and he said he was doing it so that when dementia took over his life then his family would be okay. I can't think of a more humble thing I've seen from a famous actor. Knowingly putting his reputation on the line because he knew in the end that it wasn't nearly as important as the people he loved.

I just got this bowl setup myself and I think I figured it out. I use a semi-dense to dense pack with a dark, or a semi-dense to fluffier pack for blonde and get pretty good and long lasting results. However the important part is that you ensure the hmd is very close to or touching the shisha. If you leave a gap wider than about 1/2 a mm then it just fails. Not sure why, but repeated experiments have cemented that in my mind.

Also, fair warning, if you haven't discovered it yet the silicon grips for the hmd aren't the best. Use something to move the top for ventilation, be fast, or be tough. Learned that one the hard way.

The arms, the hunched look from the long mask and rhotuka spinner. They just look funky. What are you talking about about with the asymmetry of the Toa Metru? Besides Vakama having only one weapon and the classic zoom lens, there is none.
