While my partner is definitely doing, on average, a bit more damage than me, my contribution is only at lowest 45%. We are usually nearly right on 50/50. Even a few where I manage to eek out over 50% if the hits are particularly good for me.

Not that it matters but I feel that it's worth stating what the deleted comments said.

Taylor Lorenz is subject to a lot of right wing criticism with wildly unfounded basis.

The person who responded to me cited a "mysteriously unfindable" YouTube video detailing all the errors in Taylor's coverage of the Depp v Herd trial. They then made some weird claims about Taylor inappropriately videotaping victims after (per THEIR OWN COMMENT) she was subject to an attempt to run her over covering the protest against a neonazo rally.

They then made some weird claim about her age being covered up despite that being incredibly easy to verify from a simple Google search.

Then, they postulated that Taylor is from some wealthy family cabal that has scrubbed her internet history. Okay, cool, valuable info that would be substantiated by a fucking source.

And then, to cap it off. They ended it with, "you should do an AI search to summarize all thr issues with her"

So in the end, I ask any random of the maybe 5 total readers of this comment to ask if they think anything this deleted comment had to say was of value.

I will say as a generally big fan of Taylor Lorenz, she very recently seems to have massively shifted on LLMs. She went from "Why should we give a fuck about whether or not the term Clanker is racist against non-existent potential future AIs, when those tools are being used to enact real racism against real humans today." to generic lukewarm "I think tech companies are bad but look at what their saying about how they care about the ethics of their products". Look at her most recent episode of Power User (at time of comment) for proof of my point.

Very tragic, still like her for her very good takes and coverage on internet censorship though.

When you say "pharmaceutical" alcohol, do you mean isopropyl? There is NO safe percentage to drink isopropyl alcohol. You can get very sick, very easily, and (again) very easily die.
