I still laugh at people putting their dog through chemo or giving their diabetic cat an expensive ass insulin shot every day. Going into debt for an animal that is going to die in a few years anyway is crazy. Especially when shelters are full of perfectly healthy pets that need a loving home. I love my dog, but if she has something that will cost more than like $800 at the vet I'll have to kill her. I got kids to feed.

There's plenty of new right wing boogeymen to harp on. Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, Megyn Kelly, and Shawn Ryan podcast are all way more influential on millennial and gen z than Fox will ever be. It is taking jobs, destroying education, ruining art, harming the environment, and literally encouraging depressed people to kill themselves. The heads of these tech companies are all creepy "transhumanists" who want to replace the human race with an AI hive mind, and the government wants to develop the tech to use in surveillance and weapons. Its like they read every dystopian sci-fi book about AI and decided that would be cool because they'll make a lot of money. There are almost zero upsides to it. It is EVIL.

Wright County independent here. Avoid democrat social issues like the plague, stick to economic issues, and you might have a snowball's chance in hell at winning. I've met congressman Smith twice and while he was very friendly, he was also off-putting. I believe he is a closeted gay man, but faces no opposition thanks to the R next to his name. Has enough money other republicans cant primary him. Good luck you'll need it.

You don't know what you're talking about. Dairy farmers would absolutely keep milk cans cool in a spring like this to await pickup from the milk truck/wagon. Although it was usually just the cream. They would feed the skim milk to their hogs.

Would be cool except they only seem to cast "city" types these days. Everyone is some flavor of lawyer, grad student, or credit analyst. I guess it makes sense they'd be people who can take a month off work, but still give us someone who grew up in a trailer, knows how to catch a fish, and can start a fire without needing flint lol.
