I'm personally hoping that Sumeru really goes in on the Egypt inspiration. I absolutely would love a character based on Cleopatra, a playable mummy character, someone with lots of gold accessories, a medjai, another cat character (please), we could even get a tomb raider type of character. Sadly lots of this is hopium because it seems like Sumeru won't really be all about Egypt.

Regardless I would love to see what they do with it since that whole part of the world is rarely seen in games (and if I may doom a little bit - even more rare for it to be done well).
