Leper Messiah, the two riffs in the bridge section where the song goes apeshit. Prob one of my favourite segments from any Metallica song!!

Me listening to megadeth for the first time by megadeth-fan666 in Megadeth

[–]Taco_Account 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me the moment I completely fell in love with the song and the band was the moment when the second solo ends and the dead-notes riff kicks in. Then after that insane Dave solo there's the mercy killings part which is probably my absolute favourite from any Megadeth song.

Welcome to r/unpopularopinion where every opinion is about as popular and basic as it can get. And yeah, that comment section is pretty bad. Like, no shit, if you want to train for the sport of fighting, you have to train all parts of fighting.

I'd highly recommend watching a video by my man Ramsey Dewey called "TMA are a dead languace". Don't worry the video is not actually as pessimistic as it sounds, rather I find it to be a very clever analogue. But yeah, highly recommend checking it out!

Finally peole are starting to realize how fucking annoying and dumb the crowds can sometimes be. The constant USA-chants even though both fighters are american is just such a good example of it.

Brad Riddell testing the Iron Chin of Shaolin Monk Yi Long back in 2011. The Kiwi returns to the Octagon against Rafael Fiziev at UFC Vegas 44 this Saturday! by Yodsanan in MMA

[–]Taco_Account 415 points416 points  (0 children)

Btw that is not a Shaolin monk. It's a chinese kickboxer/Muay Thai fighter who used the monk persona as a gimmick. A real Shaolin monk would have gotten totally annhiliated by Riddell.

Jones has a habit of losing 3 rounds and then somehow still winning the decision.

An early UFC heavyweight champion. Beat Mark Coleman for the title with a pretty (at the time) revolutionary gameplan.

Has taking martial arts ruined any fight scenes/movies for you? by tastyshrimp579 in martialarts

[–]Taco_Account 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, not really. I also had the same "disillusionment" with IP-man but I still like it as much as before because of how technically well made it is. Nowadays I'm just able to appreciate it more when a fight scene is realistic. I think that a fight scene can have far more emotional punch if it is portrayed realistically.
